Paul Pierce comments on the Hawks..........

In the AJC this morning this is what he said.............

"I just think they don't have their confidence down the stretch. They don't know who to go to; the have so many weapons. Once they figure that out, they'll be scary."

[r] I couldn't say it better myself. It's like he took the words right out of my mouth. Everything he says there is true. In other words he is saying that when we gel we will be a huge threat. Our confidence is oneof our problems. You can tell by the way we get back on defense. We don't have the passion right now. People don't understand it takes time for a team to gel, but when it comes all together you will get something good. As you see right now JT isn't having his best games and still is avaraging 19 points and 8 assists. Once Reef, and Big Dog play together that will be one of the best one-two punches. Theo needs to be involved more on offense. I'm not worried anymore because I know we will be a huge threat in not only the east but in the NBA! GO HAWKS!

It sounds like Pierce has a lot of respect for the Hawks' players. I'm sure that we will play better and better as the season goes along. I think we're going to come out and play well tonight against a very good Sonics team. Hang in!
