What do you expect? Ignoring age, name any .500 team that can win without it's star player healthy and 2nd most important player hurt. Please name that team. Having said that, being a .333 or even .400 team (not a .250 team) with no significant draft capitol, owners that can't invest into improving the team, and only a top 3 protected pick implies you better GD find a way to keep that pick or else you may never see the likes of .500 miuch less contention.
