It was very nice seeing Jay up on the jumbotron during the Hawks-Cavs blowout Friday.

Again, props to Jay for sticking it out with the Hawks like no one else can. (I know I sure couldn't.) Can this man get a job in the Hawks organization?

I dont know how long JDub has been covering the Hawks professionally, but I bet its been probably 4 years now. Is it a coincidence that the Hawks have sucked during that time frame? Is it possible that he is bad luck and it is he, and not Dog that is causing the Hawks to lose?........hmmm, makes you wonder doesnt it.

Folks such as Stan Kasten, Pete Babcock, and others have all made mention that the team has gone south just about the time that I arrived.

Is it because I make them uncomfortable by demanding good basketball?

Is it because nobody has renewed their seats around me since 1999?

And I won't even mention what the Hawks record is when I am not at the arena (Hint: I wasn't at the SAC game this year)...

It would be the greatest irony for me...I finally begin to realize my dream of covering a pro team, and one I truly love, only to do it in an era that the franchise truly blows...

Oh well, at least everyone there knows that I am not a fairweather fan...
