Boston talks about the "Curse of the Bambino". Do you think there could be anything to a possible "Curse of the Human Highlight Film"? This team has been mired in mediocrity ever since they dealt him, and their rebuilding efforts have proven futile to date.

Could it be that the team won't get any better until Dominique has a bigger role with the team?

What would David McDavid have to lose if he took the chance and made Dominique the coach of the Hawks? It is a move that would definitely spark some interest, and there are a lot of Hawks fans that have refused to set a foot in that arena since Dominique was traded that might return.

It's a long shot at best, but if you want to create some sparks and get a big name, there is not a name that will spark more interest in Atlanta Hawk basketball than Dominique Wilkins.

i wouldn't call 50 win seasons a curse, which the Hawks have had after nique.

they haven't progressed past the second round of the playoffs, sure, but neither did nique. maybe we should call it the curse of atlanta, since the hawks haven't won big since moving from st. louis.

or maybe it's the curse of smith, in that the team has been out of the playoffs since smith was dealt.
