Johnnybravo4
Baron Davis has opted out of his contract. And if they offered Arenas 100 million and they plan to resign Ellis as the pg of the future, than it might be worth it to go after Davis. We could offer Golden State Marvin and Bibby as a sign and trade. Bibby's 14 million expiring could be pretty enticing after offering Arenas the world. Davis is basically the pg of our dreams, he can score, distribute and is big enough and quick enough to guard any pg. Davis JJ Childress Smoove Horford We would basically be upgrading our team without taking on additional salary.
MoonKnight
have agreed to new deals with the Clippers and Kings respectively, according to ESPN. Baron got a 5 year 65 million dollar deal while Beno got a 5 year deal worth the full mid-level exception. Maybe some oldtimers on here may remember but I used to constantly talk about acquiring Beno after his rookie season with the Spurs. Our PG problems may have been solved a long time ago if we had acquired him when his value was low. Now the man is getting paid (though he could be come the next M. Jaric). He's been healthy ever since he lost weight, and he can create for everyone including himself. He's a better shooter than Mike Bibby, and will also help fill seats. Law can take his time and be the backup PG while learning under one of the league's best PGs. You could also play small with Law at the PG, BD at the 2, and JJ at the 3 during games.
