Squawkers Hawksquawk Posted January 28, 2010 Squawkers Report Share Posted January 28, 2010 NBA Eastern Conference coaches voted Hawks guard Joe Johnson and center Al Horford to the All-Star team, an NBA source confirmed today. It’s the fourth straight All-Star selection for Johnson and the first for Horford. The Hawks last had two All-Stars in the same year in 1998, when Dikembe Mutombo and Steve Smith both made the team. Yahoo! Sports first reported the list of reserves for the Feb. 14 game in Dallas. The reserves are to be officially announced on cable channel TNT tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Hawks coach Mike Woodson also had lobbied coaches to vote for forward Josh Smith to make his first All-Star team but he couldn’t make an East roster that Yahoo! said includes forwards Chris Bosh of Toronto and Gerald Wallace of Charlotte. Rounding out the East reserves are Boston guard Rajon Rondo and Chicago guard Derrick Rose, according to Yahoo!
