OTHER PERSPECTIVES: The Two Man Game

FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY: Atlanta -3, 192 o/u

PREVIOUSLY...the Dallas Mavericks lost 88-83 to Chicago Bulls at home last night. Dirk Nowitzki scored 36 points on 26 shots but received little help from his teammates who combined for 47 points on 49 field goal and 19 free throw attempts.

It was the second straight loss for the Mavericks following a stretch where they won six of seven.

Like the 2009-10 Atlanta Hawks, the 2009-10 Dallas Mavericks thrived offensively in large part due to not turning the ball over. Like the 2010-11 Atlanta Hawks, the 2010-11 Dallas Mavericks have turned the ball over more often than the average NBA team but like this season's Hawks squad the Mavericks remain an above average offensive team on the strength of their shot-making.

Consider this an open thread for all pre-game, in-game, and post-game (but pre-recap) thoughts.
