Spurs Preview:

The Spurs come into tonight's game riding a three game winning streak and sporting the best record in the NBA. Surprisingly they have achieved that record by playing at a more up tempo pace than we are accustomed to seeing the Spurs play at. The Spurs come in averaging nearly 107 ppg which places them fourth in the league. One of their huge advantages has been their ability to adapt their style of play when need be.

Keys to the Game:

Once again relax because no one expects the Hawks to pull out a victory so their shouldn't be any extra pressure. Atlanta hasn't won in San Antonio since 1997. We will be watching to see how the Hawks new look big lineup defends the Spurs' pick and roll attack. The Spurs start Dejuan Blair at center so someone should enjoy a hight advantage over him but look for Tiago Splitter to also get some time there. The recipe for victory doesn't change much tonight but the Hawks will have to bring it defensively against a Spurs team that will be ready to play.
