Squawkers Hawksquawk Posted December 10, 2010 Squawkers Report Share Posted December 10, 2010 Atlanta Hawks 10-11 Season Game #24 @ 15-818-3 The Alamo Dome December 10, 2010, 8:30 PM SportSouth, 99X FM, Pre and Post Game Show 680 The Fan, NBA Audio League Pass Probable starters: Mike Bibby PG Tony Parker Maurice Evans SG Manu Ginobili Marvin Williams SF Richard Jefferson Josh Smith PF Tim Duncan Al Horford C Dejuan Blair Hawks Injury Report: Joe Johnson (elbow) and Zaza Pachulia (ill) are out for the Hawks Spurs Injury Report: James Anderson (foot) is out for the Spurs SB Nation Spurs Blog: Pounding the Rock Spurs Preview: The Spurs come into tonight's game riding a three game winning streak and sporting the best record in the NBA. Surprisingly they have achieved that record by playing at a more up tempo pace than we are accustomed to seeing the Spurs play at. The Spurs come in averaging nearly 107 ppg which places them fourth in the league. One of their huge advantages has been their ability to adapt their style of play when need be. Keys to the Game: Once again relax because no one expects the Hawks to pull out a victory so their shouldn't be any extra pressure. Atlanta hasn't won in San Antonio since 1997. We will be watching to see how the Hawks new look big lineup defends the Spurs' pick and roll attack. The Spurs start Dejuan Blair at center so someone should enjoy a hight advantage over him but look for Tiago Splitter to also get some time there. The recipe for victory doesn't change much tonight but the Hawks will have to bring it defensively against a Spurs team that will be ready to play.
