OK. Let's talk about the following trade!!!!!

Portland does that trade they are idiots unless they plan

on playing Woods or Randolph some.I also heard they are

trying to get Sabonis back for a season or two.

I'd rather not have AI on the team.Trade JT/Theo for

another star.

PTL has asked for that trade. I don't think Philly has been secure enough in their frontcourt to do it. However, now that DC has struck again, maybe Brown may believe that moving Deke for Bonzi/Davis might not be so bad. Plus Bonzi scoffed at PTL's last offer?

I can actually see Bonzi being signed and traded at 6. And he and davis going for Deke.

However, the true question is what's da matter with AI?

For all you who cry leadership, AI is 20 times the leader that JT is. AI is a better scorer, defender, etc. AI would keep the Phil filled. PLUS, I don't think AI has had the chance to play with an allstar Pf.

1)Guy that will not practice isn't much of a leader.I'd rather

not have players that are too lazy to practice.

2)What happends when this guy ages in a couple of

years it will be hard for him to get his shot off when

his quickness starts to decline.

3)He's injury alot and a danger of have seasons ended

early because of the way he plays

Number 3 is the worst. This guy is probably has the highest

injury risk in the league. We have no defense and we are still

a undersized basketball team.Nazr Mohammad can't start on a

winning team and Willis can't be a main backup anymore.

Snow

IVerson

DJ

SAR

Nazr

Will not win basketball games.Iverson throws up too many shots

and we don't have the rebounders a defense players to make

up for it.Put on on a bad defensive team like us and we lose. It's

that simple.

I can't even believe you suggest this considering our lack of

rebounding. The 76ers wasn't as good on defense this season

and you saw the losses pile up.IF Iverson is on a bad defensive

team they will not win games just like the early Philly teams

didn't.Bad trade idea get us a different guy.

IF we trade JT/Theo combo I want one of the following players

in return:

Michael Finley

Elton Brand

Steve Francis

Rasheed Wallace/Eric Barkley

Iverson+No rebounding+no defense=Bad idea

Plus with Iverson SAR surely wouldn't be up for allstar game

again because he would score about 15PPG.

It's a dumb deal.Nothing comes from it other than selling tickets.

Nazr is a backup,we have SAR and 4 inconsiant players and that's

not a good idea.Nazr is overrated by us.The only reason he has

value to get Mike Miller is because he is a center.

Say what you want about Phillys lucky title run, there are reasons

besides injuries they looked bad againest Boston in the playoffs

this year.;IF Iverson isn't on a really good rebounding and defense

team they are not that good.

Lynch/Hill/Mutombo

Do you know how many rebounds those guys give? Not to mention

the defense you get from those 3 guys.Hill is still A VERY TOUGH

defender.

Harpering/Coleman/Mutombo

The second group is worse on defense and rebounding.

I bet Philly would love to have Hill's 10RPG back this year=)

on the court but he's nowhere near the leader that JT is. You can't be a leader and have a horrible work ethic. You can't be a leader and constantly fight with you coach about not living up to your responsibilities. you can't be a leader and yet fail to at least modify your game a little so that other talented scorers can exist on the court with you (Stackhouse, Tim Thomas, etc). All his stuff away from the team is irrelveant (at least to some degree), it's the stuff around the team that makes him not a leader. I remember Theo and Aaron McKie voicing their opinions with AI's practice habits. The thing is that winning cures everything and as long as Philly wins, AI's problems will be overlooked. Let them start losing though and watch the uproar that comes out of Philly.

I think you got a taste of that last year when they were struggling. A lot of finger pointing erupted in "the City of Brotherly Love." wasn't there the year before when Cinderella went to the ball (and earned the trip).

If things go well this season, I think you'll see the same thign on this board...a lot less blaming of guys and trade proposals for this person and taht person...winning cures a lot of woes in the NBA, the media, and the fan base.
