  1. I did not see the game and had to rely on the boxscores and I logged on to the chatroom a few times to read what was going on in the game. I was wondering when the treads was coming out on the game last night. I understand we might not be in the same class as the Pistons but "Damn", we can at least be competitive with any team in the NBA. Since I did not actually see the game I would have to guess we only played this game because it was on our schedule. I am disappointed because games like this is where you can build confidence to take to the next game even if you lose. I hope changes are made now so this team will have the rest of this season to learn a new system and next year they will be ready to compete.
  2. The rest of this month could be brutal for our team and destroy the confidence of these young players. Over the next week we could go 1-4. The one is the Rockets since McGrady and Yao is out. Everyone else in the league is getting better. Even the Knicks are playing better than we are right now. With a team this young and seeing the teams we are about to face, we need to go in a different direction now and it starts with the coach.
  3. crashed some Indy fans hopes. Let it happen so we can move on. web page
  4. I looked on the AJC but I haven't found this article.
  5. Quote: On the Atlanta Journal Constitutional a deal between Atlanta, Indiana, and Golden State is almost done. The deal would send Artest, Pollard, and Johnson to Golden State, Harrington and Pietrus to Indiana, and Murphy and Fisher to Atlanta. I think this is one that needs to be done, a win-win for everyone.
  6. I can't see that....BK will be out of basketball
  7. That's why he on the trading block. I watched him last night on TNT and he did not impress me a bit. I do not watch too many Golden State games so he could just had a bad game.
  8. I would be very disappointed if we traded Al and did not get a legit pg or center in return. We have enough forwards.....
  9. I thought Delk was already activated last week. This is why he is upset about not playing.
  10. Quote: We needed a PG who could lead this team for the next 10 years. BK picked a player who have skills that we already had in players we got. Marvin is not a PF. Marvin is not a great athletic freak of nature. Marvin is a dime a dozen Sf. We already had Smoove, Al, and Chillz here for that purpose. So what now?? Hell, Al is leading the league in 3 pt shooting!!! There's nothing that Marvin brings to the table that we don't have currently but hope. A lot of you hope that he will turn out to be better than Pockets for pants in 2 yrs. Whereas Paul seems to be BPA and he would have filled a need. It's not the Sf/Pfs that abusing us... It's PGs. It's not lack of good individual play that is causing us to lose games, It's lack of floor generalship down the stretch. Then I watch Paul and I see him taking it to the HEAT like a vet... That's what makes you question BK. True, we need a pg now and the future and Paul could have filled that need. I am just holding my thoughts on Marvin until he's given enough time to show what he can do. We all knew Paul was more NBA ready coming out of the draft. I am convinced BK made the pick which was safe. If BK had passed MW up and Paul stumbled then he would be taking big shots for passing up on what the experts said was the most talented player in the draft. At the same time, we had players already filling up the positions for MW. I am not so sure BK or the staff was sold on Chillz and Smooth as the future of this organization. And with Al's contract expiring and there is a good chance he is going to bolt there may not be a logjam at that position. I can see Chillz offered as trade bait. I questioned the pick too but oce it was made I had to accept it and look at where MW would benefit us and I think it will be down the road a little.
  11. I know just about everyone on the board thinks picking Marvin over Paul was a mistake. I still thinks it will be two years before I can say the pick was wrong. The biggest reason is if we had picked Paul I don't think he would be thriving here like he is in New Orleans. A lot have to do with the offense and they freedom Scott is giving Paul. I think Woody would have found a way to play Lue most of the time here anyway. He would probably say we are bringing him along slowly or some over stupid sh%t like that.
  12. Quote: Stern got us on the lottery and we had to choose 2nd. Then BK picked Marvin over Paul...This was truly a F up... Paul is making pros look bad. Marvin is off to a slow start.
  13. We will still be in need of a pg. Francis is a scorer and that might hurt JJ. If we made this deal, I guess they will go back to JJ at point.
  14. I guess they needed a patsy. I am wondering what they are going to do about the defensive and offensive coaches?
  15. You're right and I was suprised they hired him in the first place.
  16. We also need a big time playmaker at reciever. Jenkins and White are second and third options and with the number of passes they dropped this year receiver should be up there . Since we lost so many games this year by not being able to stop the run I have to agree a Big run stopper is #1 need.
  17. I think BK and other GMs sometime get too caught up on where a player is drafted. I am a MW fan and I think he will be something special in a few years but right now he should be sent to the developmental league. That's not a negative, but that will only help the Hawks out early next year.
  18. The reason they are keeping him around is because they still owe him so much money and for them to fire him so soon in the season they needed a way to justify the move without people saying Wiess did not have enough time to succeed.
  19. You're right no one knows what was told to them, but I do remember a tread a few weeks back where other squawkers were asking thesource966 or whatever to remove his pictures
  20. I don't know why Jackson would attempt to start a Kobe fight against another teammate.
  21. Quote: Quote: That and they have no chance of doing anything in the playoffs as presently constituted. I agree but Indy is holding the best player so they should get at least a good starter in return. I don't think the Lakers really have anything that Indy wants. Indy has the upper hand in the trade talks because 10 teams are after Artest. I can't this being the best deal out there for him.
  22. It's take more than the doctor giving you the Ok to play after his injury. After having this same injury myself, it's going to take a while for him to get the confidence and his mind right to play. I am rooting for him to make it back as soon as possible especially if we do get him, but it's going to take time.
  23. Nene is out for this season and just read where he says the swelling is down but he is still experiencing pain in his leg. When he do return, he might limit himself on the floor afraid of the re-injuring his leg. We might not get the real Nene for two more seasons.
  24. If that's true I will come by and pull the trigger and then I need another squawkers to come by and shoot me.
