I don't see them trading Herb Jones. Think BI and Dyson and one or two first rounders. I believe the source said it was DJM and Capela going to them. The main thrust of the trade is BI for DJM and the rest is just trying to work out value for each player.

I wouldn't agree with that. Frankly the only thing keeping us going is how good the drafting was under Travis and that landry's first draft so far looks promising. Kobe Bufkin is the real deal and our two second round picks are expected to have rotation minutes next season. What is killing us is our cheap ass owner's refusal to pay the LT.

One of my Hawks sources is fairly confident Ingram is coming to Atlanta and we're sending them DJM. Other pieces are involved and we're getting back at least one first rounder.

So from sources I can't name but trust: This is the first time the Hawks FO has seriously considered trading Trae. Trae has told the Hawks he's tired of this treadmill act. He either wants them to trade for a star and pay the LT going forward or he wants to be traded. I think the cheapness of Ressler of not paying the LT will offset the money Trae makes for the franchise and he will "reluctantly" agree to move Trae and the team will restock with draft picks and maybe a young guy. This, I stress, is my personal opinion and NOT what I was told by sources I trust.

I also have withdrawn my support for OO as a starting center for us. I know Quin wants a big guy there and OO ain't that guy.

I haven't been active much and I apologize for that. I have thought about this post for some time. I can't keep tilting at windmills because one wonderful playoff run we *almost* won a title. That was going on 4 seasons ago. This team does not work. The only way to really do this right is a complete tear down. Keep Jalen and guys on rookie contracts not named AJ Griffin. Flip Trae to the Spurs for our picks plus some of the ones they control. Flip DJ for whatever the best deal is. Flip Hunter for whatever the best deal is. Flip Capela...OO....Bogi. Just keep moving them out, collect assets for future drafts and start all over with Quin and Hawks U over at College Park. This franchise is in a horrible place. We have no picks or a swap the next three straight seasons after this upcoming draft. This team is a play in at best with the holes on the roster. We have an owner that is beyond cheap. There's no easy fix or even a tough fix for this. It simply does not WORK. We need to go back to a rebuild. We have enough good players to at least get a jump on a rebuild. Going down the path we've been where the FO does basically nothing except make the roster worse so the seventh richest owner in the NBA doesn't pay the LT is simply madness.

One was that short, literally word for word, and the other was a little more wordy but it is what you've all heard: Trae could get more but Ressler wants to keep him and DJ is the more likely trade candidate. Both agreed the Trae/DJ days are over.

I honestly hope we lose this game so we can just have a higher lottery chance and pick. We're not healthy enough to really challenge anyone in the playoffs.

Much rather have the pick this year than hoping for something next season. You can't count on the Kings to be a perennial playoff team, folks.

I'm even more convinced watching more game tape while recovering that Edey and Trae would be scary af for this team. Supes is putting on a master class in explaining why Edey would work for us.

Wow. They only gave me a local for the first wisdom tooth they extracted, the nightmare one that tore my lip and had Mrs. S headed to the guy's office to kill him with her bare hands once she saw me. It really boggles my mind how many NBA draft guys are so completely negative on Edey. This kid is just a dominant player. There's no way I can see a NBA coach not wanting to feed him in the post with how elite his scoring in the paint is.

Thank you, D. I have to ask...how in the world did that happen? I had all mine pulled in two different circumstances. First oral surgeon literally butchered my mouth to get one out, said the rest were wrapped around the nerves in my upper and lower jaw and was terrified to remove them for fear of paralyzing my mouth. Second oral surgeon, who removed this broken tooth, is the oral surgeon for the local hockey team and got them out with zero issues. Both times hurt, the first one was stuff of nightmares with my lower right lip torn all the way to the chin. I looked like a Batman or d*ck Tracey villain for about six months.
