W is on an Asian trip and is scheduled to visit a few countries, including Vietnam. The flags of those countries were displayed on the official White House web page. One problem with the Vietnam flag. The flag was that of South Vietnam, which surrendered in 1975! Needless to say, Vietnam is p!ssed. Just another example of a stunning combination of arrogance and absolutely disrespectful ignorance. Wonder why the people of the world think we are out of touch?

We also didn't score for like 5 minutes in the 4th.

Same thing both games I went to. Texaspete is 100% right. We come out before the other team every time. Did anyone notice that Salim came out about 2 minutes after the team? Maybe Woodson was talking to him. We definitely are not good enough to sit back and "make them adjust to us".

There are no explanations. I'll try though. Salim doesn't play because of the D. Tony didn't play because Woody thought he was over the hill. Same with Jon Barry. Both guys could have contributed and we maybe could have put some wins together. That would have stunted our younger players growth. But Al took 20 shots a game? How did that help? Woody is over his head. Period.

I get it GD. One of the reasons we are considered to have horrible fans is stuff like thinking Salim is important, or J.T is anything more than a 3rd option. I get it. I still play though.

Salim showed a little effort. The airball from the corner was terrible. He was too aggressive on D and fouled. Sending them to the line. 4 points allowed 1 basket made, 1 assist. He evened out. Woodson and anythingbutSmoove were the main culprits last night.

If Villanueva(is that how you spell that?) did not get hurt we would have lost by 15. Josh was terrible offensively and as usual, got lost on D. The losing the dribble thing is getting old. He needs to play in the paint more. Not stand on the wing.

I've normally agreed with you but you have not challenged one point that texaspete and I have made. He cannot coach effectively at the NBA level. I'm also sick of hearing all these "you're a fairweather fan" comments. Either you weren't born here or you know very little about basketball. BTW- he could set up chairs. It is his fault about Josh. Try running a F'ing play for him. You're too smart for this aren't you? Defending Woody with no basketball verbiage? Talk about our points 1 by 1 or shut up.

We're all amazed with his potential, but he looks lost most times on offense. Just standing on the wing. That's not all his fault though. Woodson never calls a play for him. The inability to dribble and the subsequent reliance on his jumper really destroy him. I wish he would forget about handling the ball. I stopped counting after he lost his dribble for the 7th time in the first half. I don't want to totally slam him. This was Woody's night. Smoove made a few hustle plays to equalize his mistakes some and he stopped a few breaks by himself. He may be the only guy in the league who scares people like that. He's got to learn to dribble and shoot or stop doing them so much. A coach could help him.

I was there tonight. You are totally right. He got out coached by Terry Stotts!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a short list Waited till we were down 10 to call a timeout in the first. Kept running plays with anythingbutSmoove on the wing. Wonder what he did with it? All we ran tonight it seemed was T-lue on the high screen. Joe could have had 45 tonight. When he finally gave him a few in a row, Joe was unstoppable on the block. No post plays for Shelden. He had 15 boards. Reward the guy. We have like 1 play to get the ball to Joe. You know. Joe runs baseline and comes up through a Wright screen on the left. No Zaza touches for extended periods. And what's with Woodson not "coaching" Zaza on the new emphasis on traveling. I'm gonna say 3-2. With probable losses to Miami and Detroit. Seattle - We need to win this game. Huge! 94-83 Bucks - W Miami - W Pistons - L Raptors - W I knew that would happen. 4-1 I say! I'm a flip-flopper. I think the Miami game could go either way.

Why are you being such an @$$? Since you did research on how long I've been here, why don't you research the Al threads I encountered when I first got on. The kind of talk I heard forms an opinion. If you all hate Al so much, why aren't you talking about it now. It is a pertinent topic. We're a year behind because of him. All I know is I've seen a lot of apologetic stuff about him. He was almost single-handedly holding the organization back. I really don't want to get into how many people have defended Al with me. It's a lot. I've been posting almost daily since I joined. If you're gonna give me that "I was here when" crap, then go ahead. Yawn. I don't know how old you are but I've been a Hawks fan my whole life. I've lived in Metro Atlanta my whole life. I personally know two other people, TWO, that have a clue about the Hawks. To be honest, it's refreshing to see so many educated opinions on our team but I don't see it with the Al thing. Maybe you all hated so hard that you're tired. We're Hawks fans and the team is playing like we thought they could. Can we just be friends?

I know other people had an idea. When I go play ball though, no one, and I mean no one gives us any respect. No one had any idea what made us bad or how we could get better. The media is the same way. So, we should feel a little proud of our skills as an evaluator. Seriously, who else besides me, you and gsu felt the same about all those guys?

I'm not trying to be pompous, but I really felt we would be this good without Al. I feel like he slowed our development by a year. There was no reason to have him. That's why the first game was so disturbing.

What people? Are there people who dislike Smoove and Speedy? Or is it the type of person? In that case, anyone who did not like someone would be "one of those same people" right? I think Speedy is a total waste. He might even ruin the chemistry.
