  1. Yeah, literally. All his shots. Because that happens. Not unreasonable or anything. Why wouldn't you think I meant that literally? I mean, it makes sense, right? Grey area hombre, grey area.
  2. I was saying this in the chatroom. One of the most impressive and important aspect of tonight's game. Reminded me of the game against the Raptor's late last season. No hanging heads, just determination.
  3. Nope. Simply saying I like what I saw tonight. If Marvin comes back and doesn't do d*ck then I think that it should make the decision easier for the next outing. If he comes out Saturday and sinks all his shots I will gladly STFU. Until then ... the team did play fine tonight.
  4. I'd be lying if I said that it doesn't carry over from last year. I don't think I'm hatin' on him, but I liked what I saw tonight compared to what I saw most of last year.
  5. I may be proven wrong here, but I thought the 1st half they boxed out pretty well. Marvin should have to earn his spot back. And, the effort was amazing tonight. I saw a lot of what we were missing last year when compared to other team with the hustle in this game. I hope it continues. I have always thought Georgia teams have a tendency to play down to their opponents and get satisfied with themselves too easily.
  6. Jenna Jameson and Salim Stoudamire Have My Vote for the If anyone wants to give Salim some hype, go over to PETA's site and vote him world's sexiest vegetarian!
  7. The NBA is one of the most masterful leagues in the world at turning a story into good advertising. Ever since the league was formed they've manipulated games into plot lines. And, this will be one of the best. ESPN has been showing the Bull's old play-off games. Years from now this one will be a great recap to watch.
  8. STFU and get used to it KG! The whole idea of labelling fans "bandwagon" is the most ridiculous thing ever. Shame on Bibby and KG. This was my first year as a season ticket holder, am I bandwagon? It's a slippery slope kind of arguement.
  9. Yeah, I missed the game last night, but as soon as I got home I saw the shot you're referring to. It's good to see this team, regardless of our opinions on each individual player, building a nice comradery. I didn't see this happening (or attempted) much during the season. BTW, love the avatar. KG's head goes all jell-o and I laugh everytime I see it.
  10. Don't know if anyone cares, but watch out for some of the 3rd Party software when down loading SOPCast. I use it. It's great, but clean off some of the stuff that comes with it.
  11. Had finals today, sported the Hawks jersey, and as soon as I got done with the test I started gettin' antsy. Then I come home and see this post and now I'm fired up! Go Hawks!
  12. You guys have seen the Bibby/Pierce commercial right?
  13. Quote: I love Doc but right now he just looks like the leader of the whiners. Touch fouls? Give me a break. This is probably elsewhere, so I apologize for that. But, Doc said it best, "I heard all the guys in the locker room saying 'don't worry; we're going home'. I told 'em they better go home and prove it". If that's all they have to depend on, they are stuck and all they have left is their whinning.
  14. Dennis Scott is giving Zaza props on Mayhem in the A.M. right now. Saying how bad he got under Girlnetts skin.
  15. I'm not making a judgment either way in that statement. But, now I will: KG should be suspended. He and Perkins were both foolish. Not so much Marvin. But, I just hate accomplishing as much as the Hawks have to give ammo to people like Stephen A. Smith and Kincaid.
  16. I didn't get to make it out last night, but the way I'm seeing this game is like the last Raptors match x50. I thought people were showing out for that game. Boy, was I foolish. I was in London for the Euro '04 and you're right. The game sounded like a bunch of hooligans took over.
  17. I'd rather beat a full Celtic squad with Perkins and Garnett. If we have to lose, I'd rather lose to the full squad too.
  18. JJ looked like he was straight dancing. I'll have to give it to TNT too. Their camera angles helped make that run look sweet.
  19. Quote: Anyone seen video of them coming off the bench Check ESPN's highlights with Sage Steele. The have the angles covered and the feet onto the court highlighted. Her report also was "leading" for Stern (if that's possible) to "stay consistent" on his rulings. I didn't even realize Stern was there last night until I saw this report.
  20. At the last "town hall" meeting, I got the impression that the players were down on Woody because he was not providing the inspiration coming out of the half. I wonder how much motivation he is providing the team as opposed to guys hyping it up amongst themselves. Or: the crowd. Woody could also be blamed for the lack of adjustments, which he's corrected (as others have said). I don't know that I'm completely satisfied with him yet, but I am certainly proud of him over the last couple of games.
  21. I love hearing all these stories from proud Georgians. I was 8 y/o as Sid rounded 3rd and I remember climbing the couch as I listened to the game on the radio from my small, middle Georgia home. My parents could only smile at how excited I was despite thinking it was a bit foolish. Until last night, that was the most memorable sports event of my life. I worked the overnight shift last night and couldn't watch my Hawks. I was back on the radio listening to this inspiring event. I'm a film student and when surreal things occur my mind automatically frames the circumstances. Like any sports movie that leave the action in the stadium and shows the fans reacting in bars, on the street, the laundromat, anywhere, I was going nuts. I have never followed the NBA. This year when the Hawks went on the five game winning streak a few weeks before the All-Star break I bought season tickets to the rest of the games. Little did I know that this would become one of the most memorable sports nights of my life.
  22. I had to listen on the radio ... Garnett backed down? Please! Post a link when it's up!
  23. Good point. But just as far as headings, Green Giant Killers is focused more on the Hawks than the fading Celtics.
