In the Clippers defense the free throw disparity in that game was insurmountable. James Harden shot more free throws then entire Clippers team. The Clippers shot 17 total free throws and the Rockets shot 40 plus and there was very little hack a Howard going on. What percentage would you have to shoot to overcome that? I'm praying the free throw disparity doesn't look like that for us against the Cavs.

You got me that round @Hotlanta1981 I can't belive how the Clippers collapsed. Then I see the Rockets got 40+ plus free throw attempts and Harden shot more free throws them the entire Clippers team. Seems fishy to me. Conference Finals Round Golden State over Houston in 6 games Atlanta over Cleveland in 6 games

I said Hawks in 5 the last two rounds and they won both in 6, so I'm going Hawks in 5 again. I think you all know what I mean though. :)

The mark of a championship team is being able to win in different ways. How many different ways have the Hawks won in these playoffs? They showed true medal closing out two teams on the road. That's not easy and I'm proud of my team. My only complaint is how does Al Horford only get 9 shots when he is 6-9?

The irony is the perception of the NBA as thug league was never really warranted. I think of all the major sports leagues the NBA probably has the least arrests. To David Stern ' s credit he understood perception is often reality in people's minds, so he worked to change that misguided perception.

Staying away from this one because It's going the way of the Thabo debate. I'll just say I hope he gets a hefty fine. David Stern did alot to clean up the image of the league let's hope silver isn't asleep at the wheel.

I actually believe Al has played very well all playoffs. I never got the feeling he wasn't playing hard even when Bud benched all the starters. In spite of his shooting hand injury effecting his shooting percentage I felt like the rest of his game went to playoff levels. He just impacts the game in so many ways. This is really the first game since his injury that he looked comfortable on offense and that's the only thing most people pay attention to; I think he's had at least one air ball in every playoff game until now. That means doomsday for the rest of the league, because he's been a double double and position 1-5 guarding fool even with the hurt hand.

You should have known the fix was in when you saw Joey Crawford on the floor. That guy is the worst and always favors the team with the biggest star.

I guess Paul didn't call game tonight. :) Our defense down the stretch was beyond bad. We really need to clean that up.

Thus is just silly the Hawks are unlucky. You can call it excuses or what ever you want to call it, but all 3 of our best players are hurt and key bench players. If they aren't hurt we would have run through these teams like hot butter. Horford's mid range is gone, Millsap's shot is gone, Teague's speed and ability to drive is gone. These things are what made our offense work and made us win 60 games. If you can't see that, then you're just blind. It's a testament to how good this team is that they are able to compete and win with their D and E material. What we are doing is the equivalent of a orthodox boxer damaging his right arm during a fight and fighting south paw the rest of the way. This team will figure it out, but they have to give effort. There can be no more Saturday's . I can explain the poor shooting, but the effort was unacceptable. I think Millsap's flu was the straw the broke the camel's back; it sent this team into a wow is me pity party because everything that could go wrong had in this playoffs. Everyone has had life deal them a series of poor hands and reacted this way, but the strong get back up and fight back. Well guess what Hawks it's nut check time tonight show us what we know you're made of.

Why is every team shooting so well against us in the playoffs? Sometimes the Hawks are being lazy, but alot of times the shots are contested. It's crazy. I can't put my finger on it.

We were getting superstar production out of our pg position all year and now we are getting nothing. If Teague is hurt then Dennis needs to start. Teague's inability to breakdown the defense is killing this offense and his D is bad. We need to roll with Dennis and Mack. Coach Bud is going to cost us this series trying to prove Teague is tough.

Don't under estimate the draft and Mayweather fight impact too.The fight didn't start until 11:50 and I didn't get home until 2am. If I wasn't an avid Hawks fan there's no way I would have watched that game at 1.That was a sports weekend that would burn diehard people out let alone casual fans.

I 100% agree and have been very surprised Bud has not pulled this lever. Paul Pierce isn't blowing by anyone, and Demaree is cheating to far off because of this and leaving him wide open for three. If I was Bud I would for stretches put Demaree on Wall Teague on Beal and Korver on Pierce. Teague is terrible defending the pick and roll, but is athletic enough to effectively chase Beal all over the court and limit his open looks. We had alot of success against Wall in the regular season putting Thabo on him. He seems to struggle against bigger players with active hand and becomes a turnover machine. I trust Kyle Korver to stay home on Pierce. There have entirely to many wide open looks for Paul in this series.This must stop. Paul is also the one wing player on the court that doesn't have a significant speed advantage over Korver.
