See that's what I'm talking about...to say we couldn't score 30 against them is insane. Y'all scored 25, the Ravens scored 23, the bills scored 25 and the Seahawks put up 31 on them in the road. None of those teams are REMOTELY close to us offensively. Im not discounting their offense but you tried to make it seem like their offensive numbers were hurt significantly with Brady not being there....I was just showing that's not really true

Jimmy G started two of those games, he was the league leader in qbr for those two games. He put up 31 on y'all...Brady put up 35, not a big difference. Jacoby put up 27 in one game....Brady scored less than that 5 times this year. They were chugging right along without Brady. The bad game came when jacoby had the broken bone in his throwing hand.

You've definitely watched them more than any of us im sure and I believe every word you say about them....I just know that you and most people haven't seen much of us so I wasn't just giving you a synopsis of us like you gave of them. And Landry Jones was actually the starter when they played Pittsburgh during the regular season. Ive never thought much of flacco and the other guys all had bad years except tannehill and Wilson.

And we've definitely played offenses better than NE. I believe new orkeans is better (I just threw up in my mouth) and Oakland is up there as well when Carr was healthy.

While this would be true it doesn't really speak to who we really are as a team. There are a lot of misconceptions about our team due to the fact that literally nobody watched us all year except our fans. We weren't on tv at all and didn't get much pub until now. So even after people see our defense be absolutely dominant in two playoff games they still sit back and say "but wasn't this the worst defense in the league?" New England played probably the worst slate of qbs this season while on their way to a "top defensive ranking". Bill shut down the buffalo with LT (possibly best defensive player ever) and a host of other hall of famers, and shut down St. Louis with a group of players that literally s**** on this team talent wise. Julio has no problem dealing with physicality lol. That's all everybody tries to do and he treats them like kids. If Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, and the likes can't manhandle him I really don't see Malcom butler or Logan being a problem whatsoever. Thing is if you focus all your energy on stopping Julio you've already lost the battle. We are 6-0 when Julio has less than 40 yards while avg 37 ppg in those contests. So let them focus their energy on Julio and we'll burn you all over the place. That's what makes this offense so ridiculous. our defense isn't perfect by any means...but they are wayyyyy better than you think they are.

Yeah Kwon is freaky athletic. But Wagner and Luke are maybe slightly less athletic but both are more instinctual players at that position. Jones has that crazy athleticism too and hope he can keep developing that instinct.

Never really seen Mack do a lot in space with backs or receivers...not saying he can't but haven't seen it much. The guys that come to mind are Wagner from Seattle and Luke from Carolina. Alexander from TB is another....thing is NE has nobody even close to that. Their linebackers are big bulky guys, damn near extra d lineman, which they use to stop the run and they're decent at it. Once we have them chasing on the perimeter with a lot of stretch plays it's going to really test them but there is no way in hell those guys can keep up in the passing game with our backs. They're going to have to give them safety help which means they can't give safety help on Julio. Can't do both, something is gonna have to give.

I love what happened in this thread tho. You can tell that nobody truly wanted to see the Falcons fail it was just legit frustration. And as the season unfolded you saw the tide changing and everybody just jumped on board. I've seen many "fans" who would rather just be right then for the team to actually do well. It's rather annoying, but it was none of that in here. Still belongs in the classics tho lol

It's pretty much impossible. Like you said Denver shut down the outside but their linebackers couldn't keep up with the backs in space. Seattle did a decent job in the first game but that loss was more about us than anything. Julio with the drop, if it wasn't for that we would've won that one too. The one thing I can point to is what philly did by just keeping the ball away from us. That's your best bet

This is way more than I ever imagined. This offense is insane!!! And even tho I said the defense would get better at the end...good gawd I had no idea they would be this good. Jalen Collins, thank you for proving all of us wrong. Beasley, thank you for starting to reach your potential that we all saw in you. Neal, thank you for making all the draft experts look like idiots saying we reached for you. Hageman, thank you for actually waking up the end of this season and realizing that they just can't block you. Alford, keep doing you man. Jones, Campbell, etc....thank you all.

That and it being year 2 of the WCO. Mack definitely was the best pickup of the offseason tho. But I remember hearing Steve young talk about how it normally takes a qb 3 years to fully grasp the WCO bc of the footwork and timing that goes into it. If we keep the offense mostly the same (even tho Kyle is leaving) Matt could be even better next year

I really don't care who we play at this point...I think they can beat anybody. I would love to put Dallas out tho and shut up all their annoying fans. I'm actually in Milwaukee today and had on all my Falcons gear all day. Early in the day before the game started all I wasn't hearing was how we were gonna lose and Matt Ryan is trash in the playoffs blah blah blah....after the game all I heard was "damn, I really don't wanna play yall".
