  1. I'm in need of a wing to help fill out my bench, so because of that I'm rolling with my guy KCP. Kaldwell pope should get more chances to score now with Jennings being benched and josh and Monroe gone. I'm hoping for a breakout year from him.
  2. Can't believe I missed my pick. My apologies people. I'm rolling with Deron Willaims. I think he can have a bounce back year down in Dallas where he may actually feel like playing
  3. I'll defend my crown if it's ok with you gentlemen
  4. At work so I'm gonna make this short so you all can keep the draft going. I'm rolling with Tristan Thompson
  5. Music to my ears to actually hear a guy say that he knows his role would be defense and he's perfectly fine with it.
  6. What are you expecting Edy to be doing right now? He's a guy that picked up a basketball just 5 years ago. He's blocking shots, moving well, and being a deterrent at the rim. At this point that's all we can ask of him. It's going to take a couple of years for him to be the guy that we all hope he can be but summer league failures or successes aren't a real indicator of what he will be...especially this early in his growing process. Pump the brakes
  7. That's exactly what I was thinking. He will see a lot more shots in Toronto in order to justify that contract. We'll see how that works out. I think he can average about 14 or 15 while still shooting at a decent clip. Rebounds and assist will probably stay about the same tho which is fine with me
  8. Ok I'm rolling with my man DMC/Junkyard Dog 2.0. Needed to round out my starting lineup and I feel that this man gives me versatility at this spot which is exactly what I was looking for. He can defend those guys that Harden can't and he allows us to be versatile offensively. He plays well off the ball and he can spread the floor. I feel good about the balance of my starters....now it's time to build a great bench. @Alex is up
  9. Is he available? I've never seen him play but he got me intrigued from that video. Kid just needs some seasoning. I think he'll be ok
  10. I think I am his number 1 on here....I thought you were Dol's number 1 on here lol
  11. Lol @Spud2Nique I was thinking hard about it but I knew I needed some beef up front with Bosh being the type of player that he is. I was eyeing Jabari the entire time tho, just hoping that he would slip, but I missed out
  12. Damn you @...I was so hoping people would just forget about him bc of the injury and he would keep falling to me. Damn it
  13. He actually shoots closer to 80% from the line
  14. Lol I think you were bc there were so many people losing their mind
  15. Actually no. You said the system wins....I said we don't need the biggest names to win WITHIN the system. We do need certain players with certain qualities tho to have things flow properly. Very few players if any can win without a proper system in place and no system can win without proper players. That is why I said EVERYTHING else I said in that post. You and others complain about our roster moves without taking into account the system we have in place. You're trying to play NBA2K but this is real life. Like i said before we don't need the biggest names or sexiest stats to make our system work, but we still need players that fit in our system and can make it work. I trust the guys in the front office to make that happen. Still don't understand?
  16. Well I'm gonna grab my big man now and I'm getting a young stud with crazy potential. He's a guy that can play well off of the rest of the players that we already have here and I'm expecting major strides from this young man this year. I'm rolling with HASSAN WHITESIDE!!!!! Averaged a double double last year out of nowhere to go along with over 2 blocks. He did all of this in under 24 mpg. If he can cut down on his fouls and stay in the game longer this could be a steal. @ is up
  17. Nobody ever said that. It has been pointed out tho that we don't necessarily need the biggest names and sexiest stats to get it done with our system. I have been on these boards for a while now and I saw the total meltdown that was happening around here when Carroll, Millsap, Thabo, and Bazemore were signed. Total hissyfit from about 90% of the board....we got a franchise record 60 wins and the first trip to the eastern conference finals out of those players and this SYSTEM. So excuse me if I don't pay any attention to those of you who have nothing positive to say about hawks player movement.
  18. But the thing is he's not lumbering. I don't know how to embed videos on my phone so I can't show you but just go check more vids of the kid. Not a lumbering big at all.
  19. How in the world do you see bradley when you watch him? Are you looking at ability or stats? Bradley had absolutely no explosion in him whatsoever, one of the worst athletes I've ever seen. This kid is far from that. He doesn't have much skill in the post or offensively period bc the guy has only been playing for 4-5 years or so. He has skills that can translate immediately given his size and athletic ability and he can develop his offensive skills given time with our staff. And he shoots free throws at a decent clip, he has the ability to shoot.
  20. Like supes said I can't really think of a comparison but the hype is real @JayBirdHawk. He gets off the floor so quickly and it's crazy to see that at his size. The free throw shooting gives me hope that he can develop some kind of face up game as well. It may take a couple of years but this guy should be damn good for us What you talking about @NBASupes
  21. I will say the one thing that I've been surprised by in the videos that I've watched of him on the tube is his explosiveness. Now don't get me wrong, he's not some crazy explosive athlete BUT for a guy his size his ability to get off the floor so quickly and recover with the ease that he can is really impressive. Add to that his massive wingspan and great NBA body and I think this guy can be special. I hate to add to the hype train but the more you watch him you kind of can't help it. He has a bounce in his step that is not typical of guys his size. Think of Roy Hibbert being able to move like Chandler
