  1. I just always liked Flynn from watching him in college, I just think he will be the best player in my personal opinion!
  2. I would have to go with Joe if we're talking about right now. I think Tmac was the best out of the bunch when he was actually healthy, which was very rare, and I can't really give an opinion on Mayo yet although I think he will end up being a pretty good player.
  3. Ok, CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. If this is true then this may be the best news I've heard in months!!!!!!!! Please get this done!
  5. After looking over the schedule I think that December and February could be our best months. I could see us easily winning 12 games in each month. And the fact that we don't have a road trip longer than 4 games all year really helps us. Any thoughts?
  6. I'm new so I'm just wondering do we ever pick a game and make it like a squawk night or something?
  7. Don't really think Acie is capable of getting revenge!
  8. We got 7 games! Thats whats up, it never really was a problem for the people living in atlanta because we got it on either fox sports south or that versus channel but now we may actually get more people talking about us because they can see us more. Maybe, just maybe we can get a lil more respect out of this!
  9. How many good guards can you name in the league and how many good bigs can you name off the top of your head? Joe had WAY more competition than Bosh did.
  10. How does Bosh change this? Have you ever watched the man play? If you're calling Marv a softy you'll be calling him the hulk when Bosh gets here! Yes he has height but he is NOT a big man by any means!
  11. I totally agree that Craw isn't another Flip, he's much better, but I also think that guy would be able to help us more coming off the bench. Just like with the spurs and Manu, you can't really tell once the game gets going that Manu isn't a starter but that gives Pop the advantage of being able to dictate the matchups, he controls what the other team does with their lineup because of what he does wit Manu. Bringing Marv off the bench doesn't exactly have the same effect because coaches around the league don't exactly respect his offensive abilities like they do with Craw. Now we all know that Craw isn't coming in with an entirely different lineup because we know that woody isn't going to do rotations like that but I still see Craw giving us an advantage off the bench. Coaches have to gameplan and think about what they're going to do with one of our bench guys when he comes in, thats going to dictate their rotation, thats not an advantage to you? In my mind I'm thinking that Craw is easily going to get 30-35 mins per so its really not going to change the effect he has on the game I just think that it gives us a slight advantage in other ways to bring him off the bench.
  12. ok, thank you for clearing that up for me, ill take that but Flip is a different player than JC in that regard. Flip is a lil tougher than JC and he plays harder on that end of the floor. I've said time and time again that I would love to see Jamal and Joe on the floor 2gether but I think that should not be what we start with. Like I said earlier you've bashed Marvin time and time again for not being able to get his own shot so why would you want him to be your best option off the bench, you really dont think that JC would be better suited for that? Being real D you know that would be better for our team having a baller like that coming off the bench and having teams have to worry about one of our bench players, that gives us a dynamic we haven't had in 4EVA! I asked earlier about the last time we had someone like that on our bench and someone brought up ehlo, thats been a good lil min. In my opinion we should leave JC on the bench and have him come in and run the team when he's in.
  13. Now we know he's not going to dominate our starters D, but hopefully he can come in and be a guy who actually uses his size and makes it known to everyone on the court that there is a big man on the court! Thats all I'm looking for out of him
  14. Y do you keep saying this? Didn't Mo replace Marv in the lineup when he went out?
  15. I actually agree with this, I wouldn't say that he has the athleticism that Vince and Tmac had but he's that kinda player. I really hate hearing people comparing JC and Flip, even if JC averages the exact same amount of points as Flip did last year his impact on this team will be much MUCH bigger than what Flip could ever bring here! We have a bonafide baller on the bench, I'm excited!!!!
  16. I for one have never EVER denied JC offensive skills and have said in other posts that I would love to see JC at the 1 JJ at the 2 and Marv at the 3 during the game because I think that gives us a great advantage as far as size goes against alot of teams, but the thing that I don't like about starting JC at the 2 and moving Joe to the 3 is that that hurts the ONLY size advantage that we do have on the court consistantly. Bibby and Craw wouldn't be an ideal backcourt defensively by anyones standards and I think we all know that but I do agree that it gives us more options on the offensive end. D you made it clear in your post that Craw can get his own shot, wouldn't you want someone coming off the bench who could do that instead of the guy who you kill ALL THE TIME about only being able to score when someone sets him up? I hear what your saying but I just think that having someone with Craw's skillset coming off of our bench would be the most ideal situation. When was the last time that we really had someone coming off of the bench that teams had to really worry about? I know I can't remember, maybe some of you older fans can help me out with that one! lol
  17. Z played out of the paint alot because of his ability to hit the jumper and because of that he drew the defense out as well. Shaq isn't going to float anywhere, and if he did who's going to follow him?
  18. I wouldn't give him that much, I would welcome bowen with open arms tho!
  19. My low point was just this past season. I've been a fan for as long as I knew what being a fan was, lol, and I was trying to do the same for my nephew so I took him to his first professional sports game this year. It was the snow game against cleveland, we were winning late in the 4th and of course "THE KING" got that phantom call at the end of the game and we lost. My nephew is only 6 and after that game he seemed to be completely turned off of the hawks and that just killed me. Once they're lost its hard to get em back, I know I prob shouldve taken him to another game but I wanted him to get the full feel of what it felt like at a hawks game. It wouldn't have been as bad if it wasn't such a heartbreaking loss and then that left me trying to explain to him why someone like Lebron would get a call like that (superstar) and why they would call that on the hawks (disrespected team). I lost my lil man and its going to take some time to get him back!
  20. I think that even the strongest woody supporters would agree that our offense is terrible under him. Can we please please PLEASE hire an offensive coordinator
  21. I never thought about Gerald Green but he would be a nice addition to the team, and of course I would like Joe Smith and Siler.
  22. thank YOU for getting that off MY chest! lol
  23. The only one of those teams that I would say REALLY got better was orlando. They actually added some depth to their bench and just replaced the one player that they lost. Boston got a pretty good player (he's old) but they may lose some of their depth off that bench(Big baby, Powe, Moore). They're all a year older (bad for them) and we're also a year older (good for us). Cleveland got Shaq, ok........... Big name but doesn't really mean much. They're still slow, maybe slower and shaq clogs the lane and takes away some driving lanes from LJ which was there because big Z was able to stretch the defense. Now to address OUR team.......Josh was hurt for most of the year which was the reason for his drop in stats, Marvin improved his shooting and stepped up in games when it was called for..I really think that he will have a breakout year (no reason, just a feeling). Joe was ran into the ground the last 2 years and I really think fatigue had alot to do with his production (I think Craw gets him a lil more rest). But really y in the heck would u think that this team has maxed out? Thats just dumb. So Kobe was as good as he was going to be 7 or 8 years ago right? Tim Duncan was at his max his rookie year correct? MJ was his best in the 80s, he just happen to win 6 rings in the 90s because he was lucky right? Negativity sometimes just gets in the way of common sense and it seems to do that alot with you.
  24. STEVE NASH IS THE MOST OVERRATED PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE BY FAR and he doesn't even make the list? Come on man!
  25. lol thats what im saying, I hope woody uses this to help the team sometimes
