LOOK, I'm tired of these conversations. We need marvin on this team, rather u like him or not, he isn't the superstar that we thought he was going to be but we did use a 2nd overall pick on him so I think we need to ride this pony out! I'm not a marv fan by any stretch of the imagination but he has improved year by year and that shows that he's actually working. He accepts his role on this team and he just does whats needed, Josh in my opinion is more talented but he's more of a risk than marvin. I love josh, don't get me wrong, and I think that he will still be the face of our franchise at some point (just my opinion) but I also think that marv is a big asset to this team and it would be foolish to get rid of him.

This is a pretty obvious answer. JJ, Marv, and Craw off the bench. Gives us versatility in the starting lineup and also gives us somebody off the bench that coaches actually have to spend some time planning for. Crawford is dangerous on the offensive end and thats a luxury to have off the bench, y would we not want to use that to our advantage?

So many people here came from other places and have loyalties to other teams but I think that with the team being consitent for another year or 2 we will win over more fans and will actually be a sellout team. We're on our way there!

Benching Josh would ruin him, we talk about him jacking up bad shots what do u really think he's going to do getting limited minutes? JACK MORE ILL ADVISED SHOTS IN ORDER TO GET HIS STATS!!! I really don't think he can handle coming off the bench, that would ruin him. Leave it the way it is, lets stop trying to mess with something that seems to be working so far, we need more time and more bench depth and I think we could make some serious runs. Get a legit big and hopefully Teague turns out to be the player we think he can and we'll be good

What exactly are u looking at that tells u that flip out played marvin last year? If we move marvin and put joe at the 3 who plays the 2? Crawford? He and Bibby would make the worst defensive backcourt in the league!!!! If joe moves to the 3 he then has 2 guard people like lebron for an entire game which would wear him down and slow him down on the other end and he's our best offensive option. We're already a small team, lets not make it any worse. Marvin is our best perimeter defender so.............lets let him go and replace with another small guard who does nothing but score. UH...................NO!!!!! Like I said let Flip go and use that money to bring in a big!

i totally agree, I'd gladly take him. Woody isn't going to play mario so bringing bruce over just adds more depth that woody would actually use. He loves vets and bruce is definately that!!!

good thought offensively but that would be one of the worst defensive backcourts in the league!!!! leave the starting lineup the way that it is and let craw be the guy that can *** in off the bench and still get his own shot off, I'm not sure if marvin can do that on a consistent basis yet and it's always good to have someone off your bench that can give u buckets no matter who else is out there with him. Marvin needs to stay in the starting lineup and just continue to develop, he made good strides last year and i dont want to see him take a step back. And bringing flip back would give us another guard on an already undersized team, no thanks, spend that money on a vet big and give us a lil more size and a couple of extra fouls to play with during games!

the ten that u named at the top, i'll give u 9. the mentions at the bottom im not buying any of those as superstars. Having a big personality doesn't make u a superstar and as great as shaq used to be he's just not there anymore. The best u have on that end of the list is pierce and he is also on the way down. Yao was getting there but that injury makes him a big what if now. I'm not even going to acknowledge the others on that list! I agree with everyone that you put on the cusp but thats just the thing, they're on the cusp. I might actually put Roy on the real list but you just proved my point. we just named a handful of players, everyone isn't a SUPERSTAR. There are role players in the league and every team needs them. Joe is top 25 talent and i wouldn't consider him a SUPERSTAR which means not every team has one.

10 and some change legit SUPERSTARS!!!!!!! who? 25 ppg doesn't make them a SUPERSTAR! Paul Milsap is about the only one I'd take from that bunch because he'd fit our team. Al is a good player but he needs the ball 2 much to get his offense off which doesn't work for us, there's already enuf ball stoppage in our offense! And Aldridge, u could have a point if I saw him platy a lil d and be a lil more physical. He and the rest of that team got strait bullied in their playoff series!

And how many of those players do u really think would come to atlanta? And about 75% of that list is older than jj, i'd much rather take my chances with joe!

I think it's truly ridiculous that some of us even consider getting rid of him, REALLY????????? Josh is one of those players that if you lost him u would HATE IT 2 or 3 years down the road. Every player isn't going to be a SUPERSTAR, there's only a couple of those in the league. Josh is a good player, a very good player, that fills every category on the stat sheet, he's not great at any of em but he gives us a lil of everything. I mean are we expecting lebron james or something? Name me another pf around the same age besides chris bosh that u would take over josh, THERE ARE NONE!!!!!!! That guy has the ability to be a great player and I'd much rather have him on our side than to see him blossom with someone else!

Bringing back Flip would just give woody another excuse for not playing a rookie, and I don't know about yall but I can't stand to see another wasted draft pick!!!!!

Great points, we have a very versatile team which allows us to keep up with other teams but if we eva want to be one of the dominant teams in the league we need a true NBA big and a pg thats going to distribute. I love what we're doing compared to years past and we are definately going in the right direction but we all know we need a real big!

Did he come up small in the playoffs against boston? Uh.......NO!!! He was wore out in the playoffs last year! Woody rode him until the wheels literally came off, I think that this year becuz we have a lil more depth that he'll be ok come playoff time!
