  1. He’s extremely active around the basket. Great rebounder and challenges every shot that comes near him. His length and activity makes it extremely difficult to keep him off the boards. He has a soft touch around the rim but definitely needs to work on his jumper. He’s strong on most of his shots, that includes his free throws. He needs to work on that. Has soft really soft hands and is able to control the ball in traffic but makes bad decisions and is out of control sometimes driving the lane. Tries to do to much sometimes when going to the basket. He was a late enrollee to duke so coach k didn’t have a real offseason with the kid but has plenty of time get him under control. You can’t teach his length, explosion, and activity tho. His shot isn’t broken it’s just to strong.
  2. Well at this point it really doesn’t matter. It’s happening. You can either accept or move on bc the team is doing what they’re doing. To then take your frustrations out on these kids with your unfair critiques like I said just comes off bitter. None of these kids are as bad as you’re trying to make them out to be and it’s making reading these forums damn near impossible. I’ve never put anybody on ignore in here and I’m trying not to but you’re making it tough. Nobody comes in as a finished product, that’s not how this works. Ease up man
  3. To scrutinize their game and skill level is one thing, to try and talk about a kid isn’t tough bc he didn’t go back into a game after having an eye injury when his eye was clearly swollen shut is just dumb and unnecessary. All I’m seeing from you in regards to these kids is negative nonsense. Not sure what your problem is but it’s become damn near unbearable. Bagley should literally still be in high school so no he’s not going to be a finished product...none of these kids are. Lebron couldn’t shoot, KD had the worst +- in the league as a rookie, Greek freak didn’t do much of anything as a rookie, kobe was trash, Tmac didn’t take off until his fourth or fifth year....what exactly are you looking for? Bc whatever it is you’re not going to find it in 17 and 18 year olds but they aren’t finished products at this point. If you have a problem with the rebuild then really you just need to get over that bc it’s happening, chill out, let these kids develop bruh bc right now you sound bitter for some reason and it’s coming off rather pitiful
  4. Yeah it was actually I bad injury but the kid didn’t miss any games. Came right back and played Friday with his eye still a lil jacked up. These people in here are killing me with these ridiculous critiques. I quit posting for awhile bc I couldn’t take this nonsense
  5. Lmao man stop. He had a tear in his retina. I’m sure that hurt. But being hurt is unacceptable huh? Lol y’all are crazy man
  6. How did Cleveland get lebron the first time? And then having him brought them absolutely nothing right? But then after drafting a talent like Kyrie lebron decides they're good enough for him to go back. This can go back and forth forever. It's not about one guy...it never is. Even lebron. He can't do it by himself and he knows that. The other guy that's transcendent in KD couldn't do it until he went to one of the greatest teams in the history of the league...so like I said it's about getting pieces and more pieces until you can compete. Your entire outlook on this is flawed but you feel very strongly about it I see
  7. Look if you're going to try and compare every player that comes out to lebron or KD or somebody like that then yeah they're all going to fall short and there's no reason to have this discussion. But if we're being real then Kyrie is a top 10 offensive talent in this league who plays great as a guy off the ball who is relied on to go out and get buckets. He's not a true pg and he can't lead a team by himself...absolutely not. But he's a really good player. None of these guys tha we're talking about including Luka are a player that will be the ONE AND ONLY GUY on a championship team. You have to look at this as a building effort and pay attention to what a guy can do and what you can put around him to make a great team. Bagley is very versatile which makes it easier to try and build around him, do I expect him to be lebron? No and you shouldn't either. You get pieces, and you get more pieces, and get more pieces until you have something that can compete. This isn't a one player deal.
  8. There is a gray area in life that most things reside in...it's not all black and white lol. I never said he was great, but him not being great doesn't also mean that he's terrible. He's a bad defender absolutely. You know who was having pretty much the same type of impact before he got with some other players...Kyrie. But people have a much different opinion of him now.
  9. The over exaggeration is real with you lol. He's not an average NBA starter? Aight man you got it
  10. Who said that there's 4-5 franchise guys in every draft? Nobody is telling you to blindly follow anything. You're just coming off overly negative about 17 year olds like there's no room for improvement in these guys games. The point about the skills vs athleticism argument is that certain things can be taught and or learned. Size, length, and athleticism can't. Him not being the best 3 point shooter doesn't mean much to me. Freak freak isn't a great shooter but I would love to have him as a hawk.
  11. Shooting the three isn't the only thing that classifies as a skill. Being 6'10 and being able to handle the rock the way that he can is a huge skill. His length and athleticism lend to him being able to do a lot of things that other people just can't. He's a decent passer but that's just not what is required out of him at this point. He's a dominate player at the level that he's on so that's what he does...dominate. Luka is good but how much room for improvement does he have with his limited athleticism. Doesn't have the quickest feet and he's going to be going up against much stronger and quicker guys on the wing. I'm worried about his ability to stay in front of people. And you're overly critical of these guys at 17-18 years old. Not being a great shooter now doesn't mean you can't become one
  12. Bagley is the best prospect in his draft, if put Luka at number 2 bc I really don't care for Porter. Seems one dimensional to me but he does have size. Bagley has the length, athleticism, skills...would be a great pickup
  13. He's great off the ball. His length and athleticism allow him to alter/block a lot of shots. I haven't seen enough of him on the ball to make a judgment yet
  14. Can a brother get down?

    Lets say...

Where do these concrete narratives come from? Who have we developed and traded? Teague? We all knew that was coming due to the development of Dennis who they promptly gave an extension to right after giving him control of the team. So what exactly are we basing this on? Everybody else left because they were being offered unreal contracts. You really mean to tell me you want to be strapped with demarre's contract at this point? We should've let Baze go in the first place bc that contract is horrible at this point. Not seeing the connection here
  16. I will definitely be going to the shop and hopefully Mike is there, would love to shoot the s### wit him. Doubt it happens but hell I can hope lol
  17. Is this a serious question? I hope you're being sarcastic
  18. This is exactly what I've wanted for awhile now. He can call it whatever he wants, doesn't matter to me, just keep your eyes on the real prize. If we have to suck for a couple years in order to be real contenders I couldn't care less. Let's do this lol
  19. I've been gone for a minute so I have no idea what happened but happy to see y'all still got it poppin around here lol.
