  1. Bullshit, he's only 23, no matter what happens in the next few years he has plenty of time to either turn things around or add to his legacy. He could play another 15 years, these hot takes to try and define him now are pretty ridiculous
  2. I'm glad we got rid of him when we did, he was always pillow soft, injury prone and wanted way to much money. I do not regret it in the least. He will always be Captain titty tear to me.
  3. I think it's silly people are still wanting to trade him and CC yet complain about our defense, without JC and CC we'd be giving up alot more point during the season.
  4. Good news, hope we can win a game or two more to give him time to really come back.
  5. Na we will complain when we feel like it
  6. Well the Cavs game was fun, even losing though this is a fun team to watch. Maybe we can pull out a win in the series but this year has been a mess so won't be surprised if we get slaughtered in the series. I wish more ATL teams were like this where even if we lose you can tell we tried and gave a damn.
  7. Yep good news, put a brace on that knee and roll him out for game 2 and hopefully JC comes back around that time as well
  8. Whatever happens now is gravy, after the crazy season we had last night was worth it all to me.
  9. I hope we get him and JC back for it least some of the first round
  10. I'm all in on keeping this team intact for 3-4 years and see what happens. We got a special team even with ups and downs
  11. Thought I'd make thread for his status. Last I saw last night on twitter is Hawks don't think its a serious as it looked MRI today for Clint
  12. Not feeling this, was a interesting season but I still like this team. Hope we are less injury prone next year.
  13. Na, any native Georgian like myself have been treated by decades of utter frustration and disappointment due to horrible ownership for a long time involving all our Pro sports teams, so many times our Pro teams folded like lawn chairs in the spotlight any normal human would get tired of it. I enjoy this version of the Hawks but honestly these teams have to now perform first before I pay attention. also traffic here sucks hard core so it's no wonder we are late to games. For the most part this has been corrected in the last few years for all our teams but you cannot dismiss 50 years of horrible futile and disappointing play so quickly. Also for the Falcons 28-3 broke me and is a perfect example of all the frustration of a native person all wrapped up into one game. The Braves winning the WS and UGA winning the title in the same year was pretty freaking amazing for this city, just need the Hawks to keep doing what they are doing as they seem to be a different type of team. The Falcons though can go F off until they actually win a SB, until then I'm ignoring them, to much time and energy wasted on that team just for them to hit you over the head with a chair.
  14. I'd rather build through the draft and create our own Stars then lop off our depth for a high priced single star.
  15. Na, with our team being injury prone if we get rid of depth for one star chances that star would get injured and we'd end up being worse off. We'd be in trouble right now without Gallo since JC is injured for example,
  16. What ever happens Friday I want this core and Nate around for 3-4 more years to see them mature and add depth pieces along the way but mostly keep our core intact. We are VERY young but have shown some real resiliency as a team even if the league screwed us over with the Covid crap. I really like this TEAM warts and all and want to see them in place for awhile. Right now they are easily my favorite ATL/GA team to follow as they seem to break the typical ATL sports mold.
  17. Yea I think our depth is the key and getting rid of our depth for maybe one more star player is a bad idea.
  18. Wonder if this Hawks team is like the Reverse ATL team, we screw up in the regular season then go lights out in the playoffs while other ATL team do well in the regular season and tend to choke in the spotlight. Would be an interesting change of pace anyway to typical ATL sports, the Braves seem to be the only outlier at times.
  19. Nothing will shock me this year. We could get blown out Wed. and go home or win a title. I suspect we do not make it out of the play in games though.
  20. Wonder if he will play again this year? It's not our year so he should not rush it
  21. Great game, this team is so unpredictable right now. I hope we get some better consistency next year as we mature
  22. The problem is we are always juggling injury issues. I hope this young core can straighten that out.
  23. We will be hurting if we get rid of JC, Gallo, Huerter or Bogi. Any minor injury would screw us and we will have depth issues quick if we get rid of these guys.
