  1. When did Josh ask for a trade ? Have I missed something ?
  2. Who is Jay Walker ? Is he somehow related to the hawks organisation ?
  3. I love Smith and every other players of the team. But the core has been together for too long now. I mean, it's like relationships with best friends. Sometimes, it happens: you've seen them so many times that a break is needed. It's the same thing here. I think the players love playing together but "the thrill is gone". The team has to change
  4. Here is a quote from a nytimes article “It’s difficult running a team,” Teague said. “You got so many different personalities out there. But that comes with the job. I’ve always been a point guard. I’ve always tried to find ways to relate to everybody. It definitely is tough when you got veterans used to getting the ball a certain number of times, and you hear about when they don’t. But I’m getting better at that.” http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/22/sports/basketball/next-up-for-jeremy-lin-hawks-emerging-point-guard.html?_r=1&ref=sports I think it's pretty obvious who's referring to: - Joe's always said he wants Jeff to be aggressive - Marvin never gets the ball Josh is the only one who openly said he wants Teague to be a playmaker, not a scorer. It probably means that Joe's comments were directed towards Josh. "Put the ball in the right hands"
  5. Do you think it's a way to blame Larry Drew ? I mean, it's his job to define players'role
  6. It doesn't make sense anymore to argue... Drew lost the players. The players lost the fans. The fans lost their mind. Everybody in this league is an six time all star. Joe is nothing but average
  7. Ok. That's your opinion. Last month, everybody was praising him for the way he stepped up and won two games for us. Let's wait and see. I hope you are wrong
  8. Nbasuperstar is the man who has inside informations that never materialize. So... Joe is a role player ? Well... You've lost your credibility here
  9. We didn't. I think Hinrich was already on the roster. Sund said we'we waived him to sign a big
  10. I'm neither a Horford fan, neither a hater, but I've always thought all the love he was getting from the media was crazy
  11. I'd say Joe Johnson. I just hope he can keep it up
  12. I read the article yesterday. There's nothing in it that says they dont want to add a center. But I'm french, so I've maybe missed something. I remember one of the only quotesfrom Sund says something like «we are trying to bring someone». Where am I wrong ?
  13. I'm happy to see our Gm active. I like the signing. He will help the scoring punch of our 2nd unit and can replace some of Jamal production. He plays better D too ! People here seem to be pessimistic about the season. I really think we have a better team than last year PG: Teague/ Hinrich/ Pargo SG: Johnson/ Green SF: Williams/ McGrady PF: Smith/ Radmanovic/ Johnson C: Horford/ Pachulia/ Benson I think it's a pretty solid rotation.
  14. About the Smith/Teague trade : I think nobody ever said it was possible, except nbasuperstar. Trust who you want
  15. You're not alone, I'm quite optimistic as well ! I think we still need to add one or two pieces to the team though. What about the idea of starting Zaza at the 5 ? 1 Teague 2 Johnson 3 Smith 4 Horford 5 Pachulia I guess the problem with this lineup would be spacing. But it'd give us size, a lot of rebounds and toughness in the paint. The bench would be solid with Hinrich, Tmac, Marv, Rad and a few minutes for one of our centers.
  16. You'd better check teams payrolls for last season. You would realize that there aren't many teams that spent more money than us. I'm tired of reading that.
  17. It's annoying to read all this negativity. Who said we could have Paul by trading Josh and Teague ? Nbasuperstar ? Do you really trust him that much ? Let's go Hawks.
  18. I'm not always right man! The difference between the two is that Al can play center, which is interesting for every teams. How do you imagine Horford game in, let's say, five years ?
  19. By the way, I used to be a pro Horford in this Smith_Al debate. I may have changed my mind. Guess nobody cares though ! Horford is kinda overrated these days. We might be able to find really good players for him. What do you think ?
  20. Refreshing news ! I'm more than relieved to hear that. Breaking the core is the only thing to do if we want a chance to improve. The way this team is built, in no way it is competitive enough to compete at the highest level without going over the luxury cap. I dont think the owners are willing to do that. We gotta gain some momentum by adding new players to the team. Have no idea who though...
  21. Cross over on James Posey
