Nobody wants to play for a team whose fanbase shows no respect for one of the best players of its history. You can choose to be optimistic if you want, but have the Hawks ever attracted a superstar in free agency ? Why do you think it could change ?

Shooting wise, Johnson is more efficient now than three years ago.

On the offensive end, he can basically score from everywhere. Good mid-range game. Good 3pts shooter. Elite post-up players. One of the best in iso. Excellent decision maker on transition. Draws double team...I do think he is overpaid though. He should earn 15 millions a year. For the Hawks, that's a 5 millions loss. Do you really think those $ would make us contenders ?Name me one player that can remplace Johnson's production

A lot of 4 could replace Smith without affecting the "success" of this team: Gasol, Stoudemire, ZBo, Griffin, Aldridge, Nowitzki, Love, Millsap etc.That's not the case for Joe. That's why he is a six time allstar.

Josh Smith isn't our best player. You're comparing a 6 time all star to a never allstar. It reminds me the sacramento fans nearly ten years ago when they had Stoja, Webber and Brad Miller. Half of them was convinced that Miller and Stoja were better than CWebb... By the way, Josh was 1-4 in the Fourth quarter while Joe was 2-3 before the shot.

The Josh fans are in the place. Joe did well tonight. Given the numbers of shots, we can clearly say Josh has to be considered the leader. He had 7 more attempts than Joe. Why all the blame should fall on Johnson ? 18 points on 12 shots, 4 assists, 2 rebounds (wtf, I can say he had about 4), 3 steals is not bad. Stop pointing the wrong man.
