    3-on-3

In a 3-on-3 game, which team would win? Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, and Al Horford Vs. Derrick Rose, Carlos Boozer, and Joakim Noah
  2. The Hawks released the official Atlanta Hawks app in the app store a month or two ago. Any thoughts on it? It is on iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad as well as on Android. Search "Atlanta Hawks" in the iTunes App Store or in the Android Market if you haven't downloaded it already. It is designed by XCO Software.
  3. We just got Kirk Hinrich, so we don't need CP3 anymore, because Kirk has been playing really well. We still do need a center, though, as our starting lineup still consists of three forwards (Josh, Marvin, and Al). I say we grab Dwight.
  4. We could have gotten Deron Williams or Chris Paul that year and we were in desperate need of a PG. Instead we pick Marvin, who wan't even starting in college.
  5. If Larry Drew doesn't take us at least to the second round this year, we fire him. But we can't just promote an assistant coach. Also, I think we should keep Kirk Hinrich, Jamal Crawford, and Al Horford. Let's trade everyone else and see what we can get if w don't go far in the postseason. PS: I really want Rashard Lewis and also a good center.
  6. I think that we have something special going. We have two more puzzle pieces to fill before we are a championship contender. First, if Larry Drew doesn't take us at least as far into the playoffs as Mike Woodson did last year, we fire him. But if we fire him, we don't just promote Bob Bender. We hire somebody like Mike Brown or Larry Brown or how about we re-hire Mike Woodson. Then, we get a tall (at least 7ft), strong, and big center. I am hoping for Marc Gasol. My second choice is Shaq. But I would also be happy with people like Brad Miller.
  7. I agree. He needs to drive more, especially when his shot isn't falling.
  8. This is a good hypothesis. It makes sense that they would want him learning LD's plays rather than Kevin Young's (the Utah Flash's head coach) plays. I guess whenever he is ready to play in the NBA, he will know the plays.
  9. I would want Rashard Lewis over Marvin Williams. Also I want Shaq.
  10. JT has some potential. Sure, he turns the ball over a lot, but he will learn. He will develop over time. But if we never play him, he won't get the experience needed. We can't trade him away. We just lost Jordan Crawford and our first round pick this upcoming draft and we can't lose another young prospect. LeBron didn't get to where he is playing limited minutes in his rookie and sophomore NBA seasons. LD needs to add JT into the rotation. Use him off the bench as much as say, Dallas uses Jason Terry of the bench or Phoenix uses Jared Dudley off the bench.
  11. Speaking of Joe's threes, I submitted a question to Sporting News magazine asking Joe what his three-point shot was, and they got him to answer it in the magazine. His favorite spot is the corners. My question is the first one in the article!!!
  12. Pape Sy got recalled from the Utah Flash. What does this mean? He is probably going to stay on the inactive list the entire season (not my decision - the dude has potential). So why not let him actually get some minutes in the D-League?
  13. Atlanta has rival teams. Here are our top five: 1) Boston Celtics 2) Orlando Magic 3) Miami Heat 4) New York Knicks 5) Charlotte Bobcats What do ya think?
  14. Same here. We passed up on so many good draft picks. We could've gotten Rajon, Deron Williams, Chris Paul, but we ended up with Marvin and Josh Smith. They are good, but Rajon, Deron, and CP3 are all better.
  15. No, he wanted to sign with the Heat because his brother-in-law (Eddie House) is on the Heat.
  16. I don't think we should waive Etan. The Hawks could use him come playoff time against Dwight Howard if we face the Magic, and he is known to emerge in the postseason, because he always keeps fighting for a rebound, no matter how much it looks like the opponent will get it. We have even seen that in his limited minutes he's played. Now that we got Kirk and Hilton (who are exactly who we needed - a point guard and a center), we should stick with who we have. I think now we are ready to venture far into the postseason with our newly acquired players. :)
  17. I really think that we should start Kirk. We should have our starting lineup: PG - Kirk Hinrich, SG - Joe Johnson, SF - Josh Smith, PF - Al Horford, and C - Hilton Armstrong. We need Marvin on the bench now that we have lost Mo Evans. I really think that Hilton Armstrong has some potential to be effective at the starting C spot and he can allow Al to switch over to PF.
  18. Here's a video that I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYtHQW_WPxI
  19. I just don't have anything to say. We got beat almost a bad as the Lakers beat the Cavs this season, and it has happened on multiple occasions. What is this? Yeah, it's happening at the Highlight Factory. Getting our asses kicked is happening.
  20. PG - Dwyane Wade SG - Joe Johnson SF - LeBron James PF - Al Horford C - Dwight Howard And then my All-Star reserves would be: PG - John Wall SG - Jamal Crawford SF - Gerald Wallace PF - Josh Smith C - Javale McGee? PG - Mike Miller SG - Stephen Jackson SF - Rashard Lewis PF - Chris Bosh C - ???????
  21. I like the Bibby, Johnson, Williams, Smoove, Horford lineup, and then we can just put Collins in for Bibby or Williams whenever we play teams with really good big men.
  22. The Hawks don't have a big 3, but rather a big 4. Joe, Josh, Al, and Jamal. And then you have Bibby and Marvin who fit great right alongside our big 4.
  23. Marvin is a valuable player, and I respect him, but I think we should place him on the trading block, and see what we can get with him. I am thinking Shaq or Marc Gasol, so we can move Al to PF, and have a true center. Also, Ron Artest might be an option for a Lakers-Hawks trade. I am fine with Marvin, but if we decide to trade him, let's get somebody worthwhile in the deal.
  24. I say either Shaq or Marc Gasol. We could then have the starting lineup: PG - Mike Bibby SG - Joe Johnson SF - Josh Smith PF - Al Horford C - Shaq/M. Gasol Pretty good, huh?
