    Last year San Antonio could beat Dallas in 7 games before starting their historic run. Normally I consider myself a pessimistic fan but even I am not freaked out.

    I am all for being loud and proud but when the only player being booed is Joe, it makes us look bad. I guess you are right though, it is better than nothing :-)

    I have to say I really hated all the Joe booing. He has been a good Hawk for many years (probably one of the best ever, sad to say). Sure he was overpaid but what was he supposed to do, say no to money? I think this makes our fan base look bad.

    I thought Mack looked good even though he played very few minutes. He had two good steals and assists. I expect to see 2 PG lineups more.

    Although I agree that we didn't play our best basketball, I never felt like we were gonna lose the game. It was more like one of those close games where you know the better team will eventually win.

    I will be there! I had to pay twice as much for worse seats compared to last year's playoffs but it will be worth it.

    Honestly at this point I don't care. If Pacers win, we will get a lottery pick, if they lose we will get a favorable opponent in the 1st round.

    The problem is Pacers need to beat Memphis on the road tomorrow after a 2OT game tonight. I still think we will play the Nets in the 1st round.

    With the salary cap sky rocketing soon, $10 M per year would not be such a bad deal for DMC.

    The best (and unlikely) scenario would be Indiana losing back to back vs. WAS and @ MEM, Orlando beating Brooklyn and Miami beating Philly. In that case Miami gets the 8th seed and we get the lottery pick.

    Since the allstar break, Hawks are 17-10, Pacers are 16-10 and Celtics are 18-11. Both teams play hard basketball as a unit. Underestimating them by looking at their lineup would be similar to what critics have done to us in the beginning of the season. Brooklyn and Miami have better lineups on paper but they are soft.

    Both Boston and Indiana are better than what their records suggest. Brooklyn would by far be the most favorable match-up, however I still want them to miss the playoffs for obvious reasons.

    So Thabo was held by the police untreated with a broken leg for several hours and then they made him do the perp walk with a broken leg? I don't know how this doesn't disturb any Hawks fan or any other citizen.

    He is already looking good offensively, he will definitely get minutes in the playoffs. I like to see Horford-Moose-Millsap front court. One area that he could improve is his box outs on the defensive rebounds. It seems like he gets pushed around a little bit.

    Millsap is an underrated wing defender. I saw him play solid defense on the likes of Carmelo or Lebron. If Demarre gets into foul trouble against Lebron, I could see lineups where Muscala is at PF and Millsap is at SF.

    Saying "He wouldn't get hurt if he hadn't gone to the club" is like saying "You wouldn't have a car accident if you hadn't been driving". The fact that he was out at night doesn't justify what Thabo experienced. FFS an Atlanta Hawks player's leg is broken and some of you here are almost upset that he wasn't shot.
