The bottom line is barely missing the playoffs (9th seed) would be a disaster It would be a much worse than the treadmill we expect considering that we did not tank also.
Indiana traded for Scola without giving up Granger. Hill/Watson George/Stephenson Granger/Copeland West/Scola Hibbert/Mahinmi Damned their front court just keeps getting better. Top 5 of the east is getting better except for Knicks.
Well, I enjoyed doing this so here is for the Western Conference. Let's see at the end of the season how wrong we were :-) 1) San Antonio 2) OKC 3) Clippers 4) Rockets 5) Memphis 6) Golden State 7) Denver 8) Dallas 9) Minnesota 10) Lakers 11) Portland 12) New Orleans 13) Sacramento 14) Utah 15) Phoenix
6th is accurate. I am not sure whether we can crack to top 5 unless Knicks have a major drop this year. My guess: 1) Miami 2) Chicago 3) Indiana 4) Brooklyn 5) New York 6) Atlanta 7) Detroit 8) Cleveland 9) Washington 10) Milwaukee 11) Toronto 12) Boston 13) Charlotte 14) Orlando 15) Philly
At this point we cannot find starter quality SF in free agency. There are still some guys who can contribute though: Pietrus, Hedo, Ronnie Brewer, Kleiza, Dahntay Jones.
I don't understand why we did not keep Zaza. He could have given us a slight hometown discount or a team option on 3rd year. We are not tanking anyway, we are trying to win now. By the way I would choose Zaza over those guys every day.
