  1. Good news: We won't hear "Let's go Heat" in Philips Arena anymore. Bad news: We will probably hear "Let's go Cavs".
  2. Now that Lou is gone, we don't have any backcourt players, except Teague, that can drive to the basket. KK, DMC, Thabo, Jenkins and Deng (if signed) gets buckets from outside. That is why we need Lance.
  3. Bosh is a perfect fit next to Dwight but man 24 M a year for Bosh is lot of money.
  4. Why on earth would we take Jack, how many point guards do we need? I will be really disappointed if we waste our cap space like this.
  5. I would prefer Millsap over Monroe everyday. However the problem is I seriously doubt Ferry is going to give Millsap a fat contract after next year, so if there is a chance to get Monroe with S&T using Millsap, we should do it. We will have a longer control over Monroe and he is younger.
  6. They probably wouldn't be happy. Getting Thabo is pretty much the same as getting the entire eastern conference all star team.
  7. This is certainly a move to attract the Swiss community in Atlanta to Philips Arena.
  8. I know I was being sarcastic. That was the motto of the previous FO and it appears that it is still somewhat valid.
  9. I haven't gone through the whole topic but here you can watch a recent scouting video for Greg Monroe: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Greg-Monroe-1109/
  10. I don't see Pau Gasol coming to here because he would have to come from the bench assuming that Millsap won't (and shouldn't) play SF. It might change if we overpay him significantly though.
  11. Since I don't know much about Dream, I would say the Braves. They are very inconsistent and usually underperform but at least they have potential.
  12. It seems like Golden State and Jazz are trying to hire Spurs shooting coach, Chip Engelland. Now that we have an opening, I hope we are interested as well. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/233739/Warriors-Jazz-Pursuing-Spurs-Shooting-Coach-Engelland-For-Assistant-Job
  13. I wonder whether we have interest in Gordon Hayward. He is a restricted FA so we probably would have to overpay to get him. I think he would be a good fit here.
  14. I am still debating whether I should watch game 7 or just isolate myself entirely on Saturday.
  15. Bud should limit Lou's minutes. Other than those brief stretches where he gets hot (end of Miami game), he is a liability on both sides.
  16. I bought tickets for the first home game :-)
  17. He is a little bit of a loose cannon but overall I like him. That being said, in order to take him away from Indy, we will likely have to overpay. I think 4 yr- 44 M would be fair (similar to Batum money) but I think Indy would match that offer.
  18. If Indy can beat Orlando in the final game, we will be in the bracket of Indy-Toronto-Brooklyn instead of Miami-Chicago-Brooklyn. I am not saying there will be an 8th seed miracle but if there were to be one for us, this is a good year.
  19. These gifs are hilarious. Keep it going.

    No reason anymore

I like KK but he would be best suited for coming off the bench with fewer minutes per game (~28 mpg). Now that the streak is over, next season hopefully we can find a quality SG to start and bring KK off the bench.
  21. I am still holding a hope that Chris Paul is somehow included in the deal.
  22. You misunderstood me, of course Horf has high trade value. I meant he is partly responsible for the situation that we are at right now because of his injury, even though the injury was not his fault. Before asking out of ATL, he needs to prove that he can stay healthy and carry the team.
  23. I like Horford but he is in no position to ask for a trade.
