  1. If players that retire will still be eligable in this fantasy game then I think I should be able to pick Shabazz Muhommad or another high school phenom because I don't think he would be considering college if he wasn't required to go.
  2. I'm not going to get involved in this one because I can see where each side is coming from in regards to Rasheed. BUT y'all both might be interested this article about Rasheed. It's very well written.http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7651790/a-los-angeles-lakers-rumor-spurs-writer-look-back-rasheed-wallace-nba-career
  3. That makes it three times in a row that the player I wanted went ONE PICK ahead of me! I think Dolfan and Alejandro have hacked my big board. Give me Brook Lopez. He's a rock and I feel he is a steal right here because he was hurt last year. He's 24 and will come back healthy and go right back to being one of the most efficient players in the league. Boards were a little low two years ago since Humphries was hogging the glass but he already told us he's committed to hitting the boards for the Finger Waggers. A top center in this league for years to come. Thank you Nets for shutting down Brook so he could come back healthy next year. I also heard he's thinking about getting metal legs to completely eliminate any chance of re-injury. Let's go BROOKIE! I am PMing Dolfan right now
  4. Everyone in this draft has the same bigboard.
  5. Good pick. I was hoping everyone would forget about him.
  6. Guess I undervalue them too. I didn't realize Tyreke's value was in the toilet? I didn't see the Kings play much last year so just went off his stats which didn't look bad at all and remembered him winning rookie of the year over guys like Harden, Brandon Jennings, Ty Lawson, and Steph Curry.
  7. I bet this is to try to move up and draft raw but intriguing Andre Drummand. Something with a team like the Kings, I think we all undervalue Smith AND Marvin here. Hows about;Smith + Marvin for #5 + Tyreke + John Salmons - http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=77xyxehDrummand/ZazaHorfordJoeTyrekeTeague6th man SalmonsKings run withDemarcus CousinsJosh SmithMarvin WilliamsGarciaIsiah ThomasWithout the pick in there it says it's a better trade for the Kings but hey, we've got Tyreke and Teague in the backcourt, move Horf to the 4, get a big even if he's a project AND still keep # 23. Thoughts?
  8. Thanks Buzz. I'm happy with my team so far.
  9. LMAO. I didn't think it would take that long (10 mins) to get that response.
  10. Keep forgetting to put it in the original post...PMd Alejandro
  11. Had to go in a completely different direction after what went down this past round. I'm going to go with Monta Ellis and watch him run with Westbrook and Smoove. Great scorer who is still very young and not as big of a chucker as people make him out to be. I dig my fast, dynamic scoring backcourt. C:PF: SmooveSF:SG: Monta EllisPG: Russell Westbrook
  12. I was wondering how far Bosh would fall. Bosh was a steal. Good looking front court.
  13. Really wish I didn't drink 1,000 beers last night and not even think of Melo when I saw it was my turn to draft this morning. Maybe I wouldn't have forgotten about one of the elite offensive players in the league. Oh well, not sure if I would have gone with him anyway.
  14. Love it. I actually had an entire write up about Monroe and right before I hit post I said nope, gotta go with Smoove.
  15. With the 23rd pick we take another Hawk - JOSH J-SMOOVE SMITH. Flat out, the guys got game. Right outside of the all nba teams and snubbed again from the all-star game, Smith improved his game yet again this past offseason. I'll take 19-10-4-2 all day from my highflying PF.
  16. With the 10th pick The Wagging Right Index Fingers select:RUSSELL WESTBROOKCouldn't be more excited about having the All-NBAer as the backbone of our team. Russell is a 23 year old athletic freak who plays with just as much if not more energy and heart as anyone in the league. He came out of school as a 2 and is now one of the most dynamic PG's in the game. Russell has also NEVER missed a game in a league in which that is extremely uncommon. When we talked to Russell earlier he let us know that he was excited to run like hell and literally fly around the basketball court for years to come.PM'd Alejandro
  17. Welp I didn't read the end of the post. Deleting my J team!A team looks good. LaMarcus at center might be a little rough though as he often plays away from the basket.
  18. I just hope Royal Ivey is still available at number 10. He's going to have had Finals experience after this series!
  19. Looking forward to seeing all the different strategies. So, do we go ahead and get going? Will there be a new draft thread?
  20. When you PM someone does it come to our email as well?
  21. I agree. The only reason I thought they MIGHT is because they struggled so much in the playoffs at SG. They were getting almost 0 offense from that position. The Grizz are supposedly shopping Gay yet again. I would love to get that guy. He's a stud.A core of Gasol, Randolph, JJ, Conley is pretty darn good and it's a great spot for Joe to really utilize his strengths.
