  1. Pekovic is the one guy I really wanted to be able to go after and get. Looks like the T-Wolves will match any offer for him. I guess I'll have to wipe him off the white board unless the T-Wolves want our picks to draft more point guards.
  2. HAHAAAAA. I bet chinky almost had a conniption fit!
  3. Also, I think Cousins will be back with the Kings...Especially now that Shaq has decided to "make Cousins the best big man in the game" http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2013/06/25/shaq-meeting-with-kings-owners-says-hell-make-cousins-best-big-man-in-the-game/#
  4. By the way, I have no idea why the font is so small on my previous post...it wouldn't let me change it for some reason.
  5. I don't think our two picks could get us LA or Deng. Both guys are all-star level players and I think most here are severely underrating Luol Deng. He can get to the basket, hit the outside shot, and give you hell on defense. You want an awesome SF - Deng would be the guy...not Danny Granger. How does LA make any sense for this team? We have been yapping for how many years now that Al needs to move to the PF position? C'mon now. If we could get Deng somehow and then sign Splitter, I think that's a good start. A Deng, Horford, Splitter front line...
  6. I will be forever furious if we draft Mason Plumlee. End of story, even Duke fans think he's overrated and couldn't believe they were trying to peg him as a POY candidate. Do you guys see that Phil Pressey is ranked extremely low on all draft boards? I'm talking like barely getting drafted low, why is that? I didn't see him play a ton but he always looked very talented to me.
  7. Ha, ya, this letter was definitely written by a 21 year old kid straight out of college who then blasted it to every person in his contact list all in an effort to try to sell a season ticket. Definitely had nothing to do with Ferry, Bob Williams, or any of the owners.
  8. And they already know it will work! Haven't y'all seen Uncle Drew?!
  9. I see what you're saying about repetitive posts but in my opinion the more fans, the better. With more Squawkers, we probably get a more crowded arena (rooting for our team) which would also be awesome. Now, I'm mainly a reader and not a big time poster, so maybe they will feel the same as you.
  10. I loved JT when he was here and I like how he gets back to try to stop this but c'mon, this is pretty funny...
  11. We should sign him. Put him next to Ivan out there. Let's sign every player that gets banned from a league. Ivan's worked out great for us.
  12. You got it. 3 Western All-Stars and Al got the most votes. Let's move to the Western Conference and keep the big lineup. Love that Al got the most votes.
  13. Can we all agree that Jeff Teague is about ready to explode? The guy is playing great ball and I caught myself smiling over and over again as he got to the rim tonight. Yes, he did get ripped by Bradley a few times tonight but I thought he did an above average job against one of the premier perimeter defenders in the NBA tonight.
  14. Good point. How can I go back up and put these next to each player? Player 1 - 55% FG, 2.3 TO Player 2 - 46% FG, 3.1 TO Player 3 - 56% FG, 2.0 TO Player 4 - 51% FG, 2.7 TO Player 5 - 46% FG, 2.1 TO Looking back I wish I had done a "rank them" poll (if that's even possible)
  15. Ok team, it's Friday, I'm running on empty, and I wanted to ask you guys a quick question. Based on these 2012-2013 season stats, who are the top 3 pf's out of this group? Just your personal opinion. I am sure some of you will know who the players are but if you dont, please don't look them up. I'm just curious. Are these players pretty close to being on the same level? Player 1 - 18.6 ppg, 8.7 rebs, 3.7 assists, .7 blocks, 1.4 steals - 23.86 PERPlayer 2 - 17.1 ppg, 8.6 rebs, 4.2 assists, 2 blocks, 1.2 steals - 17.19 PER Player 3 - 17.4 ppg, 10 rebs, 3.3 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1 steal - 20.19 PER Player 4 - 18.9 ppg, 11.3 rebs, 3.8 assists, .3 blocks, .9 steals - 19.43 PER Player 5 - 15.7 ppg, 11.6 rebs, 1.5 assists, .5 blocks, .8 steals - 18.15 PER
  16. I am a big Josh Smith fan but that trade would be so great. I wonder if it's something they'd consider.
  17. Love Greivis Vasquez at the 202nd pick! Here is my team with their EWA. I'm not sure if I did this right so correct me if I'm wrong. Stan Van Gundy Westbrook (11.3) /Vasquez (5.3) /Isaih Thomas (3) Shumpert (-.1) /Monta Ellis (4) Wilson Chandler(0.5) /Marvin Williams (-.6 YAYYY) /Al Farouq Aminu (2) J Smoove (6.3) /Verejao (5) /Ed Davis (3.7) Brook Lopez (9.9) /Asik (3.7) Total EWA = 54 70% of EWA = 37.8
  18. I trust you guys. I have a confession to make but please don't tell anyone. I can't stand Bob Rathbun.
  19. Interesting but where would Smith play in LA? Would they bring him off the bench?!
  20. Josh Smith for Royce White straight up. Kidding of course. I honestly have a tough time gauging what his trade value is because I really do feel he is an extremely valuable player to our team but too stuck in his ways for other teams to really appreciate his talent
