  1. I wish whoever wrote this would join this board. And if you're already on here, great post.
  2. Would you seriously want Ivan Johnson to start at SF? I really like Ivan too but I think he's a PF.
  3. All of you bashing Josh Smith are driving me insane. Face it, he is an above average NBA player who helped turn our crap cellar dwelling team around. He took bad shots but he did much more good than bad for us. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way. I loved when Josh burst onto the scene chasing down guys and blocking shots. Was the youngest player in NBA history to 1000 blocked shots and didn't bad mouth our horrendous fan base nearly as much as he deserved to. Good video though. And you bash him but I bet you were super excited when u got his autograph. We all know you have it somewhere in your house.
  4. The guy can play basketball but some of the things that come out of his mouth just don't make sense to me. How can anybody hate the city of Atlanta? What does he want? We're a big city yet we have huge parks and trees around. Don't want to live directly in the city? Live in a suburb and be in the city in 20 minutes. We have warm weather. You can see live music every night of the week. Like to laugh? Go see a comedy show any night you want to. We are diverse. Go see a laser show or hike at Stone Mountain. Take a trip up to Lake Lanier. We've got the Fox Theater. We have art and musical festivals almost weekly during the summer. We've got history. We've got the Chattahoochee River. We've got awesome local breweries. Tons of movies are filmed here (I know he is interested in that), we are known for our strip clubs (sounds like he's interested in that as well), I could seriously go on and on but I guess these are reasons why I will live in Atlanta my entire life. It's a BS excuse. IF this is true and only IF this is true I hope he never steps foot in Atlanta again except for when he comes to town to lose. Take a little pride in where you come from. He shouldn't show is face anywhere in Atlanta ever again. Not in Downtown, not in Midtown, not in East Atlanta, not in Little Five Points, not in Old Fourth Ward, not in Buckhead, not in Kirkwood, not in Bankhead, not in Grant Park, not in Decatur, not in Atlantic Station, not in Cabbagetown, not in Inman Park, not in Edgewood, nowhere. Sorry for the rant, I love this place.
  5. Evidently 5 or 6 teams are interested. The end?
  6. I mean yes, right now they say that the draft is loaded and what not. BUT they also said that Shabazz Muhammad would have been the #1 pick coming out of high school and same thing about Austin Rivers before he went to college. These guys are playing against high schoolers, many of whom are no good. Let's see what they do in college before saying that several teams will get a franchise player.
  7. That was a rough season! Was at almost every game cheering my ass off. I'd do it again if I had to.
  8. Oh, I know, I wasn't suggestion they would. That's why I said somehow, but we don't have the assets to get the two of them.
  9. I saw that too. Dwight + Curry + Klay Thompson would be fantastic and exactly what Dwight would want. 2 excellent shooters that can space the floor while he does what he wants in the paint.
  10. If we could get David Lee + Harrison Barnes somehow I'd be all for it.
  11. Well the Warriors are offering Bogut + either Harry Barnes or Klay Thompson in an S&T.
  12. OH. MY. GOD. I am rethinking all of the values I live my life by. I can't speak, can barely type. Am hurt and disappointed. Crushed beyond belief. That is the least mutombolievable thing I've ever heard. Why Deke?? WHY????????
  13. Are these separate meetings or will Smoove and Howard be in there together?
  14. Check out the side tweet bar. Says Rockets prepared to discuss trades of Asik as confidence of getting Dwight increases. What do we have to offer for him though?
  15. Portland technically just robbed Dwight. Why are they fools? They weren't gonna get Dwight so they got a guy that's going to be a very good player
  16. First response got messed up but I was traveling for work and was in a hole in the wall bar in Warner Robins watching and went nuts when we picked him. Was so pumped.
  17. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/22547776This guy loves the pick.
  18. Guys and gals, did i call it? Or did i call it???
  19. 1. Duncan 2/3. Love/KG (only because he's not as crazy dominant as he once was, should be co #1 w Duncan 4/5/6. David Lee, ZBO, Horf 7. Griffin (I really do believe all those guys are better than Griffin)
  20. Russell Westbrook - 11.6 Isiah Thomas - 5 Monta Ellis - 4.6 Iman Shumpert - 1.9 Wilson Chandler - 3.1 Marvin - 2.3 Smoove - 4.2 Anderson Varejao - 3.3 Brook Lopez - 9 Omer Asik - 5.5 Ed Davis - 5.4 Greivis Vasquez - 3.8 Al Farouq Aminu - 3.1 Total - 62.8 win shares
  21. How did I miss this thread?! Pretty sure my team from last year had most win shares!
  22. We're going to draft Dennis Schröder. Mark it.
  23. I do not want that Greek guy. Check out "who he reminds you of" http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/66785/whos-that-draft-pick-meet-the-imports
  24. Interesting. I've read that all the guy really ever talked about was being the best shot blocker in UK history and breaking Anthony Davis' blocked shot record (which he was pacing to do). Even though it's an individual stat it's not like when Kobe wouldn't shoot and only passed the ball or Bob Sura trying to shoot on his own basket to get a rebound and seal another triple double. The dude is not going to be Marvin Williams, he's going to be a guy that wants to protect the rim like Roy Hibbert (although a few inches shorter.) Don't know that I could write off a guy who's main goal in college was to block shots. Is that not someone you find on any good team?
