Sheesh, give the guy a break. He played through a BACK INJURY that severely affected his jumpshot. With him now looking to be our new sixth man, I expect great numbers coming out of him.
I guess raining 3's in the finals can cause severe damage to one's shoulder. But in all seriousness, I hope recovers and comes back to the form he was prior to the injury.
If they decide to overpay for Deng, that's their burden. Atleast I will know that Ferry will give him a respectable, cap friendly deal and try to remain as flexible as possible.
Have faith in Ferry. He's not going to blow a good portion of the cap to overpay Deng. He'll give a price (cheap) for Deng, and if he accepts it, cool. If not, then we didn't need you anyways.
He was the Summer League MVP last year, and showed glimpses of his potential while playing in LA. Hope we sign him. He may very well be the steal of free agency.
You can do better than this. There is no way you trade an All-Star and a 1st round pick for an unproven shooting guard who couldn't even shoot over 40%. This has to be the most asinine trade idea I've ever seen.
