  1. Keep Dennis, Prince , and Bembry. Everyone else should be moved for whatever value they can get This team is below average. I like making the playoffs but making it just to get put out in the first round is not going to cut it. I rather get in the lottery and add a good young talent to go with guys like Dennis, Prince, and Bembry. This year has been terrible
  2. That was an ugly ass game but I will take it Sap and Dennis carried the team tonight. They hit clutch free throws Great to see Bembry play and contribute. Dude was very good tonight and lmao at Malone for getting that dumb tech I'm tired of Delaney and Baze Delaney couldn't keep Jameer Nelson's old ass in front of him. There were like 3 straight possessions where he blew by Delaney with absolutely no issue. This dude makes Mike Bibby look like a decent defender Time to move Baze for whatever you can get. I don't care if its a second round pick in 2030 but get this dude out of here. He plays just like the bad version of Josh Smith. Terrible shots, bad passes, and gambles on defense and gets burned. Seems like a great guy and a hard worker but the Hawks tricked themselves with that deal they gave him. I want to see the 2 rookies play so get Baze out of here
  3. What a shocker. They follow up a great win with a bad loss. smdh This team is average as hell . I know some will say give them time and they need to gel but nah. This is what they are. An average team . They will look great one night and follow it up with some terrible play At this point I don't care what they get for Baze, just get him out of here. They overpaid a energy bench guy. It happens now admit the mistake and move on We gave away a good point guard for a lotto pick. Play the damn lotto pick. Start him. Let him go through his growing pains because right now the value we got back for Jeff looks like shit if the lotto pick barely plays and Jeff is starting to look like the guy from 2 years ago and Delaney is awful. What games did they scout where they thought this dude was capable of being a back up point guard? Go get a real damn back up pg ASAP
  4. Dennis is playing some damn good ball right now so I don't see how one can complain about his play. He had some struggles but it looks like he is getting it. I'm sure he will have another stretch where he looks bad but dude is going to be fine. He just has to cut down on the turnovers. We don't have scorers so he has to look for his offense a little more than some point guards. Thats more about our personnel than him as a pg. His good play hasn't lead to much team success so far but once again that is more due to the lack of talent on this roster.
  5. A great gritty win that I hope gets them on track. I said the same thing after the Raptors game too though. Its time to get some momentum and string some wings together. Don't follow up this great win with another bad loss Yea that dude is terrible. He shot it over the rim tonight on a wide open lay up at one point. In the playoffs last year they didn't even attempt to defend him in the first 2 rounds. They left him wide open damn near every game with no type of fear that he would hit a shot
  6. I was saying last night how they cant have that type of great performance against the Raps then lay an egg against the Hornets but ehh its the Hawks I guess. This team settles for so many jumpers. Really wish guys would attack the rim a little more. A lot of bad decisions down the stretch killed us. We have an average team and I dont want to make the playoffs just to say we made the playoffs. I rather get as much value for our vets and let the young guys get as many minutes as possible.
  7. Really needed this game. They didnt make it easy but they got it done Props to Dwight and Dennis. Anytime Dwight came out the Raps went on a run. Moose just cannot defend They have to follow this up with a win tomorrow. Cant play this well tonight then lose tomorrow Glad to see Dennis play so well as of late but nah. The East is stacked with guards. I can name about 5 point guards off the top of my head having better seasons than him And you have to add shooting guards since I think you choose 2 backcourt guys now instead of sg and pg Kyrie Lowry Kemba Walker Isaiah Thomas John Wall (team is trash but he is balling and might get the votes)
  8. Great first half. The best I have seen them play on both ends in a long ass time. Need to carry this over into the second half
  9. A team that barely scores 95 ppg had over 70 at the half smh. This team has not defended well in a while. No reason the Magic should have been able to score so easily. The turnovers continue to be a problem Sap just cannot defend stretch 4's. I dont know what it is but he struggles defending stretch 4's. They always get clean looks when he is matched up on them. Moose has really come back down to earth after that nice start. Dude still gets pushed around with ease I have seen enough of Delaney. Seems like most teams have a solid back up pg but us. Can we please get another pg in here to back up Dennis We just dont have a good team folks
  10. Really happy to see Dennis on this streak. He was struggling for a minute but he seems to be in a great groove now. Hopefully his great play translates into team wins. Sap is a beast. I don't think he gets enough props from the fans. I guess we are so used to his steady play that we kinda over look it at times. Teams with length usually gives him fits but he balled out last night Big shots by Tim last night. My only complaint with him is his tendency to rely on his jumper so much. He plays so well when he cuts and drives to the rim. Having Jeff and Dennis together the previous 2 years really spoiled me. We had the luxury of riding the hot hand. Delaney just does not look like a back up pg to me. He looks more like a 3rd string guy. Teams attack him as soon as he comes in the game like clockwork. I liked the Dwight signing but man I can see why Houston fans were not sad to see him go. His effort from game to game is just not consistent. He had a tendency to check out of games with the Rockets if he didn't get touches and I see moments of that here. Need more consistent effort on both ends from him
  11. they really needed this one. i hope this gets them back on track
  12. It would be one thing if Dwight struggled on offense but played great defense but he was bad on both ends I have given up on Baze. Didn't want him back but we signed him anyway
  13. Not much you can say at this point This team is not very good at all The Thunder did all they could to give us the game and we couldn't take it. The Thunder took bad shot after bad shot, turned it over and kept turning it over, yet we found a way to still lose.
  14. Yea that's why I said at best lol. This team looks lost. The ball movement is non existent They are giving up a ton of open looks They don't have the offense to fight back once they get down big The body language looks terrible out there The turnovers are bad And guys who played over their head to start the season have come crashing down to earth
  15. I have seen enough. Even if they start playing better they are still no better than a first round exit Every player on this roster but the rookies should be available. Get the highest value you can and build for the future
  16. What an ugly game so far Baze continues to jack up quick shots and miss lay ups We are giving them as many open shots as they want Moose has come back down to earth with his play. He missed so many defensive assignments in that second quarter. And the miss shots at the rim Korver with another non impact game Dennis has scored but the ball movement is not there Delaney is terrible And why in the world did we trade Jeff for a lotto pick if we are not going to play the damn kid (Prince) smdh
  17. Seems like a lot of Hawks fans are remembering Dwight for what he once was rather than what he currently is. Still a good player but doesn't have the elite athleticism he once possessed which hid a lot of his flaws. Hard to run the offense through him when he has no post game. The numbers from Houston and his current season back that up. Its a reason why Houston preferred Capela over Howard. It had nothing to do with talent but rather fit. That dude checked out last night too. He wasn't getting the ball and the benching to start the 3rd pretty much sealed it last night. He looked like he wanted to be somewhere else. He picked up a few fouls that were absolutely ridiculous. He was also getting outworked and out played by Jon Leuer. A fan on another board said he at the game behind the basket and Dwight's body language was awful. Here is a good read. The numbers are not encouraging, offensive wise http://fansided.com/2016/11/30/dwight-howard-hawks-sustainable/
  18. And it looked like Dwight gave up tonight. Jon freaking Leuer was grabbing boards over him. He even had a nice put back slam over Dwight.
  19. This team is a first round exit at best. Don't mess around like they did last year at the deadline Dennis, Prince, and Bembry are the only keepers Get what you can for your vets and let the youngins grow together. Way too many guys will get pay raises next year and it makes no sense to put big money in a mediocre product. And I knew Delaney's defense would be bad just from watching him in the preseason but damn, that dude couldn't defend a newborn. Awful defender
  20. This is beyond embarrassing . No effort, no energy, no defense, and no offense. Funny how we got rid of the so called soft guys who didn't care yet here we are, new season, new players, and the same shid. Cant finish at the rim Awful shot selection Cant defend the perimeter Delaney making Mike Bibby look like a first team all defender Dwight out there getting outworked and out played by Drummond Nothing from Thabo Sad that Hump and Prince look like the only 2 guys who came with some energy. And we had to get down 20 plus to get Prince in the game
  21. Good to see Dennis get back on track Nice game from Tim too Those are the only positives I got from this game Until they clean up the turnovers, they will continue to struggle. They cant continue to cough the ball up like that. It was damn near comical the first quarter the way they were turning it over There were a lot of bad plays tonight but 1 stood out to me. Hawks need a stop, get the stop , but PJ Tucker grabs the rebound over Dwight. It was just that type of night

    Coach Bud

I know losing can be frustrating but Bud is a damn good coach. The pieces we have is a bigger issue and has been for a while.
  23. I was concerned about all the turnovers when we were winning and I felt like they would eventually start costing us games and welp here we are. Never seen so many just bad passes every. They cant even make a simple entry pass to the post. So many "wtf" passes from guys who are veterans and know better I said a while ago that Dennis needs a floater. As mentioned, he has no variety to his game when he attacks the rim. Teams know he is going to put his head down and try to get a lay up. He is getting his shot blocked a lot at the rim because of this . Green saw that play coming a mile away last night. Get a pull up jumper/ floater and it would help Dennis tremendously,.
  24. Yea same thing I was saying the other day. Playing him at the 2 might help him defensively but that wont make him dribble better, shoot better, or finish better.
  25. Tough loss tonight. They played hard. They have to clean up the turnovers man. Its just too many Good to see Dennis get on track offensively. I really hope this gets him back on track. He has to do better with some decision making, especially trying to throw lobs in traffic but good to see him score. The bench was good. They really produced tonight Our starting wings are freaking awful man. I'm tired of watching them play Kyle just does not impact the game. Baze cant shoot, cant dribble, cant finish, and plays out of control Man just start Thabo and Prince. Do something because you cant keep throwing Korver and Baze out there
