Dwight looks good. Dominating guys he should be dominating . He has to be better with those fouls though I have seen enough of Hardaway. Hated the trade when it happened and still hate it. It was a bad trade. Get what you can for him and move on. Give the minutes to the two rookie wings. Delaney was getting absolutely destroyed defensively out there. He looks like he lacks the lateral quickness it will require to defend most point guards night in and night out . I hope Dennis is ready to play big minutes this year. I'm not very positive about our back up pg situation right now.

Sap is the only guy I see as a lock to make the team. Hawks players never get enough vote so anyone who makes it from this team will be picked by the coaches They took the Center position away in All Star voting so it might be hard for Dwight to make it in. Its way too many point guards in the East for Dennis to make it. It would have to be a lot of injuries and even then it would be hard Lowry Wall Irving Thomas Rose- contract year and in that New York market Teague- healthy and contract year Kemba Walker- some thought he deserved it last year I put contract year because you know some guys ball out when its a contract year Baze has no chance what so ever.

Jeff is one of my favorite Hawks so it was hard to see him being traded but I knew it was time. I think he will have a bounce back year. I knew he was hurt last year when he had trouble beating bigs off the dribble when he got a switch. In the previous two years when he got a big switched out on him it was either a lay up or he got fouled. Last year however he was either settling for a jumper or had to pass out. The exlposion just wasnt there.. I still dont think him and Monta can play together.. Hope Jeff does well but not against us lol

I thought we had a good draft. Its free agency that has me worried. Maxing out Al and overpaying Baze will not get it done but I'll wait to see what they do

I had him on my draft and stash list like a month ago. I posted it on the other Hawks board. Loved what I saw from him. Still raw but he is only 19 and has time to improve. I think he will surprise folks too.

I understand the frustrations but lets wait until free agency. If they dont make any moves to improve the team, then yea you should be mad as hell.

I like this pick. I thought he might have been drafted a little too high. He was even shocked he got drafted this high lol. It is what it is. I will root for him to become a good player. Wish he had a better handle but he plays hard as hell and can knock down the 3 I'm probably more excited about the kid we got in the second round, Cordinier. Love his athleticism and ability to hit the 3

I like this pick. He isn't flashy or anything but he is solid in all areas. I dont think his shot is broken so I think he will improve in that area.

I told people that his tweet would not hurt his value. I said on a different Hawks blog that Jeff would end up with the Pacers I cant really say if I like or hate this trade until I see what we do with the draft picks. If we end up with another Payne or Acie Law then Im going to be pissed. IFf we end up with a difference maker than I cant knock the move at all. Getting a lotto pick for a guy that was going to end up leaving was a good move but I want to see how they follow it up Some of you need to just calm down and wait and see what happens. I will always appreciate a guy that worked as hard as he did. He turned himself into a very good player. Went from not playing to making an All Star team. I think he bounces back next season. Thank Jeff

You're not judging him on those final games huh. I guess you missed what he did in the first 3 rounds, the regular season, and his career. He gets a ton of open shots due to the attention his backcourt gets and he still cant take advantage of that. He does not impact the game, is a average rebounder and defender. An older Iggy with a bad back was more impactful. I always thought he was another Marvin but hell Marvin might be slightly better. No way do you overpay for a guy that cant create his own shot, doesnt rebound better despite his size, and cant consistently knock down open jumpers.

Hill is solid. Id have no problem going after him KJ McDaniels is still the guy I want. The Rockets dont play him so he should be available

A guy saying he will only play for certain teams hurts his value A guy saying he wont sign an Extension if traded to a particular team hurts his value A guy saying he was hurt but will bounce back once he recovers does not hurt his value. I just don't think its that serious. If a team values you and wants you, then this wont stop them from making a move for you. He is not coming off a season ending injury. I'm sure he doesn't want to play for Philly but he has no choice if they trade for him. I don't even think the rumors hold much weight. I just don't get it from Phillies perspective. They wanted Dennis last year not Jeff. Why would they want a guy with one year left on his deal rather than a young guy to grow with their other young guys. I think this is much about nothing.

Overreactions from Hawks fans. What a shocker smh Maybe its just me but I fail to see how a guy who probably didn't have much value hurt his value by saying he was hurt. He clearly looked hurt to me. I didn't see the usual explosion or burst . Plus Reggie Miller said during the playoffs that Jeff had a sore achilles and some other issues but he wasn't using it as an excuse. If a guy still had a decent season with injuries, why wouldn't he be more enticing to teams knowing he might return to form once healthy? Dallas threw a bunch of money at Wes Mathews after his injury but Jeff hurt his value by saying he was hurt? lmao what

The point guards are not to blame for our bigs to be missing open jumpers and bunnies right at the rim. They did the same crap last year and in the Celtics series. Blame them not the guards.
