The Hawks need a scorer, and they need one bad. This was ugly. I knew it was a wrap after that second quarter. The Hawks just dont have the offense to get back in games like that. Dwight had a great first quarter and was quite for the rest of the game Sap could have just skipped this game and headed right to the Bay because he was a no show Good to see Baze play well. I hope he can string together some good games but I wont hold my breath Kyle smh. He is a bench player at this point Dennis smh. Cant make a simple entry pass to the post, cant finish, bad shot selection, continues to get blocked, and just looks bad out there. He shot a few more air balls tonight too. I know its a learning experience but some of his plays are just bad plays in general and have nothing to do with experience. He continues to try to throw lob passes even if Dwight is covered by 3 guys. He continues to try and make passes in traffic that end up getting stolen. They got rid of a guy, gave him the keys, and rewarded him with a new deal so i highly doubt he gets benched but he really needs to look in the mirror and get it together Bud also needs to make some changes.

Games like tonight makes one thankful they have NBA League Pass. What an ugly game This is a total team effort of bad basketball Our bigs did nothing Our wings continue to stink Our point guards got shots up despite not hitting That Baze deal was bad from jump and continues to look bad. Why even give him a big deal after spending a lotto pick on a sf? Seriously what was the purpose. We should have let the Rockets overpay him and gave Prince and Thabo all the sf minutes. And I know someone is going to say he is better at sg than sf but is playing at the sg spot going to make him dribble better, shoot better, or finish better? Nope. Dude is a nice energy guy off the bench. I know Dennis is young and learning but man its getting harder and harder to watch him. He is not getting guys involved. His defense is not looking good. He continues to make bad passes. He cant finish. And Bud is chewing him out like I have never seen before. His game has not really improved from that 60 win season. At this point just start Prince and Thabo. Your starting wings are giving you nothing so I don't see how it would hurt

He did that in another game and Bud took him out quickly and chewed him out. I forgot what game it was but the opposing team was making a comeback and Dennis for whatever reason tried to throw a lob that got broken up and the team went on to score. I want to say the Lakers game but I'm not sure. Anyone remember the game I'm talking about?

Can never be mad at road wins, no matter how ugly it was at times Big games from Dwight and Sap. Moose was good the first half too We have to find a way to get Prince more minutes. At this point send Baze to any team that will take him and make Prince the starter. This kid makes things happen anytime he touches the court. Lmao. What are some of you talking about. Read the whole interview. He didnt throw shade at anyone. He said he has never played with anyone like PG and that Joe Johnson was probably the closest. He was also talking about he is playing with with more guys who can get their own shot. He gave nothing but props to guys like Sap and Baze. He was clearly saying he doesnt have to create as many shots for guys like he did here. Fans talk about our lack of shot creators but let a guy who was here say it and its F him. He didnt say 1 bad word about any player, coach , or fan since he left.

Huh Jeff did nothing but praise coach Bud. He talked about how great he was for his career and how Bud trusted him He gave the fans a lot of love too. Saying how they supported him since the day he was drafted and saying how great they were Other than the knee injury tweet, Jeff said nothing but good things about the team and fans

and for a guy (Dennis) that is supposed to be so much better defensively, guards are having no trouble beating him off the dribble or just out muscling him. There were times tonight were he didn't attempt to move his feat and Frazier just blew by him

Just an ugly performance Dennis was was absolutely owned tonight by a guy who wasn't even drafted. Tim Frazier was passing the ball and setting his teammates up beautifully. And when he wasn't passing, he was blowing by Dennis. No need to even comment on Baze anymore. Hope Dwight is ok. Its a win but man that was ugly. More turnovers and a bunch of bad shots They have to clean up these turnovers. They have been winning despite the turnovers but at some point you know teams are going to start taking advantage of the Hawks coughing up the ball as much as they do No reason they should be turning the ball over as much as they have. Cant blame it on chemistry. A lot of the turnovers are from just flat out lazy passing

I'm seeing way too many passes in traffic, forced passes. telegraphed passes, and flat out lazy passes They have to clean this up though. Right now they are winning despite the turnovers but at some point good teams will exploit that., That one alley attempt in the Cavs game when the Cavs were making that comeback in the 4th was a real "wtf" are you thinking moment

Limiting the Cavs to 1 shot makes such a big difference Last year and the year we went to the ECF, the Hawks initial defense was great but they could never get the rebound. The Cavs just kept getting second chance opportunities and it killed us. Well along with JR treating Kyle like his son but giving them multiple shots was a big issue.

Good damn win Baze and Dennis were great They still have to clean up the turnovers though. Some of the ones in the 3rd and 4th quarter were down right terrible. Just some sloppy passing On to the next one

Very good first half Dennis, Moose, and Baze were great Dwight missed some times because he had to get stitches but he was cleaning up the glass Limiting them to 1 shot has made a big difference Still need to be careful with the turnovers and we are giving them a few too many open shots. Its going to be tough to win this game. I know most folks point out to our lack of rebounding as the main reasons they Cavs have owned us but there are a few other reasons too They have to defend the 3 point line Sap for whatever reason struggles against stretch bigs and Kevin Love is one of the better stretch bigs in the game. Sap has to defend Love well We have to hope for a cold night from JR but that dude kills us for some reason We need the under control version of Dennis tonight. Dont try and do too much. We have to limit the turnovers. The sloppy passing we have seen so far this season cant happen tonight. Cant let the Cavs get out and run Defend the 3 point line. Limit turnovers. Convert the easy baskets.

Dennis will be fine but he has to get stronger and develop a floater. Those are the two things that will help him tremendously. I remember how often Jeff used to get his shot blocked and pushed around. He added some strength and added that floater. When Dennis adds those two things, his game will improve even more

Just an ugly first half of basketball. Hopefully the second half is a lot better I don't know what it is but Sap absolutely struggles defending stretch bigs which is crazy because he is one himself. Morris was giving him that work in the first game and was killing him in the second quarter. Come on Sap get it together It would also be nice if our starting wings decided to show up

Honestly all of our guards were bad defensively. I didn't even mention Nick Young and Jordan Clarkson getting hot The good thing for the Hawks is that its early in the season but they have a lot to clean up. We need another perimeter defender for the bench. Right now its only Thabo. I would like to see Prince get a few minutes to see what he can do. Need to see some better shots from a few guys. Firing up long 3's with a lot of time on the shot clock is not good Need to see some better passing too. Too many lazy passes and passes in traffic

Dennis was terrible down the stretch but somehow what Jeff did last year gets brought up lol Dennis was getting cooked by Russell. He was beating Dennis off the dribble and posting him up Delaney was getting cooked by Lou, They put Baze on him and he got cooked too Our guards got dominated tonight Dennis, Delaney, Kyle, and Baze were all bad defensively

A lot of the issues I saw in previous games bit us in the ass tonight. Not a good game at all The Lakers guards got any and every shot they wanted tonight and the Hawks could do nothing about it. Dennis did not have a good game. Bad shots, bad defense, and bad passes Delaney cant defend on a NBA level. He cant keep anyone in front of him. I think some members on here could drop 20 on him The Hawks were killing them inside then for some reason started jacking up bad jumpers And tonight I saw a lot of the laziness on defense from Dwight that Supes has brought up before. There were several times the Lakers got in the paint Dwight was not there to protect the rim. Bud made some head scratching moves too. The bench gave up all the momentum but he kept them in way too long instead of pulling them when it became clear they could not defend And what is up with the passing on this team?. So many lazy and telegraphed passes from guys
