Yea it got hard to watch at one point with all the fouling. It really made the game drag I want to see how they do against a good team. The teams we have played so far are not good teams to me and I know at least 2 of them miss the playoffs. I can see the Wiz missing the playoffs too Cant turn the ball over like we have against the good teams. The shot selection by a few guys needs to get better too Oh ok I didn't know that. And I don't see how its a problem that some fans are pointing out some things they are concerned about. If you can be overly positive and happy about things then why cant people voice concerns with some issues? I'm willing to bet that Bud and all the players in that locker room see some things they want to correct and clean up moving forward. Pointing out some flaws and concerns does not mean people are miserable. Just means they know this team can execute better in certain areas.

You do realize that the Hawks have not had any problem beating the Kings the past few years? Like I get that folks are happy with a new look but to act like we would not beat this team because of two former players is ridiculous. Especially when you consider just how easy they handled this same team with said former players on the roster

Yea I didn't like his shot selection and how he missed Dwight a few times when he was open I didn't want to say he was bad and he wasn't really good so I thought solid was a good description. But I do understand why you wouldn't even consider him solid with some of the things you listed.

Sap is Sap Dennis was solid Baze smdh. Terrible shots and got abused defensively Tim smdh. Dude is out there pulling from deep as if he is Kyle Korver Props to Thabo who continues to play well on both sides Nice game from Delaney too I know Cousins is talented but man that dude is so immature that its comical and sad at the same time. I couldn't do anything but laugh and shake my head at some of the silly stuff he does out there. Always crying and complaining, watching rebounds, not defending, acting like he didn't do anything when its clear he did. If they had a competent GM and owner they would just start trade him to the highest bidder Sorry Supes but nah lmao

I thought Thabo showed this type of play/versatility the year we won 60. I remember watching him in the preseason his first year here and thinking " damn I didn't know he could do this". In OKC they basically just told him to stand in the corner and shoot open 3's. That was pretty much the only thing they allowed him to do. I didn't know he could bring it up and make some solid passes before he got here. I think that injury from the club incident still bothered him some last year.

A lot of their fans wanted Monta moved to the bench when the trade to the Kings for Gay didn't happen And I don't think Supes made this thread as a dig at Jeff. Supes was one of the biggest guys against trading Jeff if it wasn't for great value. Chuck has been the only person I have really heard say we are going to miss Jeff. I didn't think we would miss a step as far as Dennis starting. I thought we wouldn't have the 1, 2 punch from the pg position we have had the past few years but as far as starting, Dennnis will be more than fine. I honestly don't know what it is with Al. He was never a great rebounder but he doesn't battle on the glass like he once did. Might be scared to hurt himself again or he just might not have the strength he once did.

I like Jeff so I hate to see him struggle like this but I think anyone who has seen Jeff and Monta play knew that the tandem would not work. I still don't know what Larry Bird was thinking. Monta should have been moved the moment the Teague trade went through. He looks a lil quicker than he was last year but that explosiveness is still not there. I don't know if its the knee or rust I know he will get it together but I didn't think he would be playing this bad after seeing him in the preseason.

Yea I don't know if what the Thunder struggled to do means much. You just never know in the NBA. The Bucks were terrible last year but if you only watched when they played the Warriors, one would have thought the Bucks were one of the better teams in the NBA. Bad teams beat good teams all the time. I think the Bucks gave us a beat down that year we won 60.

Yea the Hawks easily make the playoffs. Right now I think we are around 4th or 5th seed but its still early. I dont think it will become a clearer picture until around the second half of the season and the trade deadline is over. I can see a few teams making moves to try and sure up some things.

I like Baze but I wanted us to move on from him the moment we drafted Prince. I think his contract is going to look as bad as DMC's. Baze is solid but I would have preferred to go through the growing pains with the young guys.

They beat a team they were supposed to beat. Good win. Win the ones you are supposed to win Good game from Dennis. He looked under control all game Thabo continues to impress. I thought he showed some good things last year but you could tell he was still bothered a bit by the injury. Good game from Moose. He has to keep it up though The Sixers are awful. If it wasn't for Embiid, I don't think I could have watched much of that game. The Sixers look as lost now as they did when Brown first took over. I don't see any improvements what so ever from them. All those bigs and not one good pg to get them the ball or to run an offense. On to the next one

Nah he was aggressive,. He got in early foul trouble and couldnt find a Rhythm. He even used his left when attacking the basket a few times. Rarely used his left here. Had three of his 3's go in and pop out. He will be alright

Jeff was awful on the offensive end. Actually played solid defensively and was passing well but couldn't make a bucket to save his life I still say he will play better around December. Not working out this summer because of that injury set him back some I know many are picking the Pacers to give the Cavs trouble but man they cant defend for shid and that bench is awful They will be around that 5 and 6th seed area unless they can flip Monta and get a bigger guard in there.

Good win Dwight, Sap, Thabo, and Tim were great I have been one of Tim's biggest critics but he played well tonight. We need him to do it consistently and not just one game here, disappear for a while then have another good game. CONSISTENCY Didn't like the turnovers Kyle and Baze didn't do much of anything Dennis was solid but way too much looking for his own shot and just bad decisions with the ball. He will get better in time but he cant try and do too much. The Wizards are exactly who I thought they were. I just don't understand why some think they will be better than us. They did nothing to improve their team Their new coach is just as bad as the old one. Their offense looks exactly like the OKC offense, the two best players take turns jacking up shots. Its no type of offensive system. I hope we beat them down every time we play them

Good deal and like many have already mentioned, Hawks probably got him for a little lower than he would have commanded once the season was over. Just hope he keeps improving.

Hope to see them come out and bury the Wizards tonight. I still don't understand why so many so called experts like the Wizards so much. They missed the playoffs last year and didn't do anything to really improve the roster. They also added a coach who wont have the benefit of throwing Westbrook and Durant out there like he did in OKC. I remember when the experts were still holding onto the Bulls last year although most knew their window had closed the moment Rose hurt his knee the first time. I wonder when the experts get off the Wizards bandwagon.

I watched both games last night. I think Jeff will end up playing a lot better around December. He didn't work out this summer because of the injury and was only cleared shortly before camp started. Defense looked awful last night but he attacked a lot and missed a few shots he would normally make. I see him having a very good year with the Pacers. They cant defend for shid but they can score . Al looked like Al. Made the right plays and didn't try to do too much. He was never a stud rebounder but he was better than what he has shown the last few years. He really fits what Boston does so I think he will play well up there just minus a lot of rebounding.

I like Delaney's ability to shoot but he doesn't pass much and his defense is awful. Looks more like a small sg rather than pg. I know he has to catch up to the speed of the NBA but his lateral quickness is a concern. He had trouble keeping guys in front of him. I think Dennis will play a lot of minutes this year

I think some of you are thinking about Jack as what he once was rather than what he currently is. He wasn't very good last year and he is coming off an injury most guys take 2 years to fully recover from. Add in his age and one has to wonder why they signed him in the first place. I know someone will bring up his points and his assist from last year but look at his shooting percentages, they were awful. And his defense is not as solid as it once was. I thought there were some better options out there for the 3rd pg role. Delaney looks more like a sg than a pg to me but that's for another topic, that I will chime in on

Good to see Tim playing well. Really concerned about Dwight and his fouls. He picks up way too many cheap fouls. He has to find a way to limit that Dennis looks ready Glad basketball is back but man I will be glad when the real season starts. This game has been hard to watch. The Pelicans are just an awful watch without Anthony Davis Someone should keep a tally of how many times Bob and Nique reminds us that Dwight won DPOY 3 times.

Dwight continues to impress Dennis looks ready Delaney has found his shot tonight but im still concerned about his defense Tim just looks awful out there on both ends. Not helping his trade value at all nor giving coach any reason to play him

Dwight was good. He has to be careful about the fouls. Picked up too many against guys who are end of the bench quality Moose was solid but I will wait and see with him., I bought in on him last year but I didn't see any improvement Dennis was solid. Kyle was solid Thabo looked good Edy looks like he had a good summer Really loved what I saw from Prince and Bembry Hardaway was awful. Get a second rounder or whatever you can for him and just move on. Let Prince and Bembry get those minutes Not impressed with Delaney at all. Watching his highlights after we signed him and my biggest concern was his defense and it was on display tonight. He was getting abused. Didn't really see him run the offense either. I rather get another back up pg in here until Jack is ready, if he will be ready
