Delaney is playing much better for a long while now. He started the season with allot of shots rimming out, then he went in to a period where he completely lost it and now where his shots fall his overall game seems to improve with it. Dennis better watches his back. Although he played a good 3rd quarter and got Baze going. He seems kinda gone. Could be physical as well as mentally. He looks stiff and holding back but he also looks like he's having no fun playing ball right now, lacking the needed bravado.

Non issue. Stop hating on Supes. Of course a player you've been watching for 9 years is going to grow on you. Its like watching a mini-series on TV for 9 years basically, only for men and with actual abilities being dsiplayed. Spescially when he whas a keypiece, one that whas hard to judge and been in plenty of discussions over the years. IMO Horford whas key in our last defeat. He whas on so many times on the right side of things, both on offense, but even more on D. He even gathered some tough rebounds vs Howard. But anyway, our bench almost got them...

Last years playoffs sure disagree.

Pro sportsmen are often from difficult backgrounds and being able to hold those emotions back has allot to do with still being alive and playing ball for unreal money. There is nothing Dennis really could and most foremost should do. Dennis is right in making this open to the media. It whas his mom after all. The shame is on IT, knowing he gets away with it. Its only real if both are by them selves in some dark alley. Now we can have our selves a little rivalry and the reffs might take a bit more fair position in the matchups as well. But yeah. Hump whas really impressive. Running like a littel girl still, but more like a really fast and strong little girl. The whole team also looks in a much bette physical state. Also Moose looks like he's building some smart muscles around the neck and shoulders, but I had that impression of him from the start of the season. I guess that new training-fascility is already paying of greatly. These Hawks will be the defensive superpower of the NBA.

Somehow Im now not allowed to enjoy Dwight Howard because Im supposedly having an agenda. No Im enjoying the Hawks games without an agenda. Typical dumb talk. Go in to my Millsap post on the last page or dont talk at all. You know who also has +-60 FG% in this league? Rudy Gobert(higher even), Steven Adams, Gortat, Plumlee etc. It doesnt mean they all should be prime focusses on offensive. This should not even be an argument. Different league, different Howard and lots of shooters/passers around him in Orlando back then. Nelson, Lewis, Reddick, Turkoglu all spread the floor and could create for others. But in turn, we are a way better defensive team and Howard is a key part in that being so. With ups and downs, but we stabilized imo, as long as we dont get crazy ideas like indeed getting the idea in Howard's head that he should be a key focus on offense. That is not to say that things can not improve in PnR's and still should be worked on, but only with care. We gave away games trying to much of that.

Periobird and especially Sothron. I dont have an "agenda". Stop laying words in peoples mouth and then parade when Dwight plays great. Stop being silly. I root for Dwight each game as well. Im not on the defensive. You should be. Its evident to anyone who knows a bit of basketball that Dwight is not taking part much in plays and that is not a critique. It is to do with his lack of creative qualities, which is why Millsap matters so much. Millsap is not only a good passer like someone else noted, but he posts up far away from the basket multiple times a game, more often than not after creating mismatches. Stuff like that does not only create points by Millsap, but also causes scrambling defenses and lots of fouls. Millsap is involved in allot more offensive plays because he can play away from the basket and can play of the dribble. Which gets him in allot of way more difficult scoring positions compared to 60+ FG% Dwight. Simple as that. Im feeling like Im saying "the pope is catholic" but whatever...and IMO they fit great together. Dwight is used like he should be used. The question just is, how he takes it. But just look at their combined stats. Look at how many TO's we made when trying to create for Dwight.

Yeah fine. Lets pretend we know that for certain and lets pretend that 1st round pick means what it says. Still, what if we actually try to win, then reach the ECF and Korver is out there hurting us. What is that pick doing for us? In the off-season I said this is a roster where Bud is hedging his bets, where when things dont work out he can rebuild quite fast. But we where getting it together more and more lately, while being superb against the contending teams. So, I get that hedging bets thing, I just dont want to help CLE while doing so and not at this time. Korver whas also doing good of the bench, is great guy to have the playoffs and a chemistry guy. Calm and timid but guys listen to what he says I can imagine. That pick is going to haunt us this year Im afraid. And what it brings is 1/10 chance worth it imo.

Just dont say anything any more. Dirk whas a great defender in his prime and still is a good team defender. Dont let old Dirk torero moves fool you because they are so obvious. He whas much like Horford on D back in the day. And yeah, Millsap is beasting almost every night. Many people where yapping about him when he played 5 great games and one bad, and after 3 good games in they where still acting like he played in that 1 bad one. He is so much of our offense right now, with Dwight being such a non-factor in actual plays. On Dennis and on-court yapping: in Germany we have a saying "Was sich Liebt, das neckt sich", "which who loves takes the loved by the troath"(like a cat carrying a kitten). Like you have to be good with another to yell out stuff against each other in front of millions of viewers, knowing it is not personal but for the benefit of what you're all trying to do out there. I like it and I whas such a player in soccer. No one cared after W's. On the Dallas announcers: they talked out of their asses but they are great imo. That Jeff "Skin" Wade fellow often makes me laugh, which is very rare for mostly boring sports announcers. In last game he went on about the reffs rhyming Greek name. Also made me chuckle a bit. He's also a big fan of Dennis, calling out his "pesky defense" and how he values the fact that he's a young PG from abroad doing so good, which in itself is avery rare(historically: can only think of Rubio and Parker - there is enough 6 foot someting talent pool in the US + the leading pressure as Johnny foreighner).

Still though. Why Cleveland?

The other part of the equasion is that the bench has been better with korver on the bench. + he's a typical deep-run team bench guy. great to have in the playoffs, seeking out mismatches to then come in, providing off chance scoring when needed etc. Hes a great asset for a team that tries, but not a starter no more indeed. If we got something in return then alright, but...its as minimal as can be.

He whas doing great of the bench and is the epitome of a great streaky bench shooter for a contender. They better package that pick up to get an upgrade on the wing and not trade Millsap. As a european and mavs fan Im not build for this years of avoiding winning. Also poor Dwight and Dennis. Dickmove. Good luck Kyle and thx for what you did. Already missing you.

What he talks about takes more skill and capability. Nothing to do with effort really. They seemingly didnt trust in doing it right of the bat with Howard(and also Korver in the starting 5). I like Howard's approach more and more. He's not high on being a primary scoring option, but is instead working on things like team D.

People are bitches....Anyway, the money spend on baze, is taken out of a grand total of the cap, hence money that could have been available to be a (big)part of paying Millsap. Which evidently would make the issue people have with paying Millsap allot less of an issue. Hence me "finding it hard to see baze running around with that smile while we are readily discussing not paying Millsap". Whats there to not understand, much less to jump on, woman? We all get that. Its just hard to see Baze running with Carrol's money is all Im saying. And Im saying its hard to see people so eager to dispose Millsap because they dont want to pay him, cuz you know lots a mulah is caught up in Baze's contract. Its just hard! Almost makes me cry each time I see Baze's stupid face up to something stupid or after something stupid.

I never considered Bazemore "talented". To me he always whas this gymrat guy who put up allot of jumpshots. He's kinda talented athletically, but then again to small to play the forward position where that would be of real use. And yeah its hard to see Carrol not being paid that money and now our old warhorse Millsap not considered worthy.
