  1. The Bulls are begging to be put to sleep in this game. We just haven't been able to do it. Trae had a chance at a halfcourt heave 3 in traffic, but decided to try to dribble through it. Can't mess up that shooting percentage, which has dipped to around 42% now.
  2. LOL Trae . . you better had converted that before that shot clock went off. Good pass.
  3. 4 good open looks from 3 . . . all misses. And a Trae tough miss at the rim Then we give up a shooting foul. Big time opportunities missed that will make this game much more difficult the further we get to the end. 6 point deficit.
  4. Still need to get over the hump before this quarter ends. Once we take the lead, we should be able to pull away. But we need to take the lead. Bogi or AJ heating up from deep will be a great shot in the arm.
  5. AJ with great hands forcing that turnover, which leads to a Dejounte one-man break and 1. Energy points. Lead down to 2.
  6. Much better Murray. Get to your spot. 6 point deficit now. Hawks are +11 since the Caruso injury. And he's out for the game. Rest up and heal buddy. We'll see you in about a month when we come up to Chi-town.
  7. Collins' finger said . . . NOPE . . I don't want that rebound. Let's see if that costs us. no.
  8. Or maybe it's time to go out and find a more pure PG to add to this group. Dejounte can play the point, but his biggest game is scoring and creating in transition. In the half court offense, he's definitely struggled. He made a good short pass to OO right there though.
  9. Brooklyn up by 40 and scored 91 points in the 1st half? LOL Then I look across the league, and see Indiana up by 28 over Boston at halftime . . . and Cleveland up by 20 late in the 3rd quarter over Milwaukee. Our 10 point deficit seems like nothing, compared to that.
  10. The big thing about Dre and JC, is that they don't get "energy points". There are players in this league that can get 6 points a game, just off of pure hustle. Whether it's getting to a loose ball, grabbing an offensive rebound, or just running hard down the floor on a fast break, those type of guys find ways to score, even if a play isn't called for them. Collins at the 4, doesn't give us that. Dre, at any position, doesn't give us that at all. Dejounte can do it, when he has his defense going and creating deflections for steals. Capela obviously does it. Who else on the team does it? Maybe AJ?
  11. The guy you're complaining about taking 14 shots, has also made 6 three pointers and gone 9 - 9 FT . . and is +1 for the game. If he wasn't completely on tonight, we'd be down by 30 right now.
  12. Needed that last 3 to go down desperately. LOL . . then Trae baits them to draw a foul at the end of the clock AND draws a T on Derozan. Lead down to 10. Thank you Trae.
  13. I can barely celebrate this explosion from Trae, because we can't stop anybody and we keep turning the ball over. But thank you again Trae. This is what superstars are supposed to do when the team is struggling. Down 11 now. Get 2 more stops.
  14. Dre's best play of the night. Maybe that's a momentum changer if Caruso is out the game. Hope Caruso is OK, but go through concussion protocol and take the rest of the night off. Get this down to 10 please, gentlemen.
  15. Nate did call one timeout, after they went on a 8 - 2 run to push the lead to 11. Now we're down by 16. Trae can make shots all day long, he's going to need some help and the Hawks are going to have to get some stops.
  16. Mr. Murray . . . you OK man? Lead this group please.
  17. Hawks are like . . . "We love being (3)!!!" 2nd unit putting us in a deeper hole now . . . down 14.
  18. If Ressler wants to stay under the tax, it'll be a deal like John Collins for Marvin Bagley + Nerlens Noel + 2nd rd pick.
  19. Just one of them will be gone? Easy choice then.
  20. Both Trae and JC made references of Schlenk "believing in them". I think both were appreciative of Travis selecting them where he did.
  21. Fields had his best year as a pro under D'Antoni. And that was his rookie year.
  22. Let his name be recorded . . in every place of honor Let him take the ball he served so well . . to those who have it not Let him be written . . in our hearts . . in our minds . . and our memories . . Forever
