  1. What's he going to say? "Hey ya, that Reef is a bad defender. He often allows subpar players to bully him around and Theo is lucky there to erase SOME of his lapses" The guy is soft and has always beem soft. He's a tease with big scoring games, but it's obvious now that he'll never really accomplish any thing in his career. In fact, I would be surprised to see him turn into a Jim Jackson career after this season.
  2. Hendu is and always was a sorry cod sack. He had one respectable season his ENTIRE career. Yet, according to one person he's "earned" his contract. That's just silly. Leattners decline and careless attitude made Hendu appear to be much better than he ever was. It was Pete BabHASNOcock that again overpayed for a bum. Speaking of Babs, did anyone hear Bob Rathburn a few games back mention that Pete say Tmac didn't have enough talent to stick in the NBA? That says everything about Pete as a GM right there.
  3. I was watching a Laker game just a short while ago and I can't remember who it was againest, but Payton got toasted really badly and looks really slow on defense. I wouldn't give him that big of a contract now. It's sad to see players like him decline but that's the way it is.
  4. And just think....I've been ripped the last two years for saying things like this. My does changing teams affect a persons view of a player.
  5. It boils down to the stupid fans paying to go see the games. If the fans where smart they'd stay away until the players get a MAJOR salary reduce. And no basketball players don't deserve more than football players because: 1)THe basketball product is TERRIBLE right now and boring. 2)Basketball is weaker than football The point is that it's rather lame when basketball players whine claiming they need those extra millions to feed familes. Give me a break.
  6. The reason these "athletes" get so much is because the public is stupid enough to overpay for tickets. You can blame it on the fans.
  7. Dog is passed his prime. Now he's about as worrysome as a cloudy day to opposing teams. I think Jackson is going to play better and I think he'll get overrated for it mainly because it's easier to produce better ESP now since the team has no expectations.
  8. For the rights to overpay for Q.Richardson? That's what will probably happen.
  9. It's gunna be funny if Knight does all these moves to tank and still end up with the pick they could have got anyway. Out of all the trading the Hawks will probably only gain a mid first rounder. Rather sad.
  10. any team in any given season can make the playoffs in the NFL..." I dissagree...I think that is what makes the NFL LESS entertaining. The league needs great teams. The Pats aren't a dynasty by any means.
  11. This deal is going to bust....
  12. Dog is badly on the decline. He's still productive...But the last two years his jumper is becoming more and more inaccurate. I didn't get a chance to watch the game since my cable is going crazy tonight.

Mamadou has no skills at all. He can't even make a layup. You and I could do that much. They'll probably both be back in the CBA very shortly.
  14. The question is can he produce this while he's no looking for a contract to opt out of? I seriousally doubt it. He does have alot of talent if he isn't launching shots from the outside all the time.
  15. What I mean is that teams can't keep talent with the stupid cap. Every year talent gets plucked away from the good teams and it takes away. It makes things inconsistant and new teams rise from the hashes every year. To me that's not entertaining because it keeps teams from becoming great. THe NFL is growing less and less entertaining. The cap is stupid.
  16. 24 minutes 17 points ALREADY Over his last three games he's averaging about 18PPG 5RPG shooting a pretty good percentage
  17. The only problem with the salary crap is it starts making everything crappy like it's done the NBA and the NFL is starting to become mediocre and crappy aswell.
  18. I think A team should be built starting with a center and a PG..Oakafor and this Duhon. I read abit about Duhon and I'd select him if possible....The PG supposed to run your team and the center supposed to anchor the defense. Then I guess you can get Q Richardson and after that you need a PF.... PG:Chris Duhon SG:Q.Richardson SF:Boris Diaw PF:??? C:Emeka Oakafor The question is....Can the team get a really good PF with some size? We could also target a star like Tmac. That roster above needs a star player either at SG or PF. Having a good(possibly great) center gives you a leg up on most of the teams in the league. Thats why you select Emeka. You can forget about drafting the local boy and he makes good in his home state. Most of the people here aren't from Atlanta so having a player from Atlanta doesn't mean squat.
  19. I agree....Q Richardson is overrated. If he can shoot why his is fg% right at 40%. That is NOT good shooting.
  20. That team would win 20 games. It only has one legit starters on it. JT/Q Rich/Foyle are bench players and Howard is probably the next Kwame or Joe Smith.
  21. Secondly, who is to say that Chicago handled Chandler/Curry or Washington Handled Brown right." Who's to say they didn't? Kwame Brown is a sissy boy and that was obvious from his rookie year. Eddy Curry was fat, is fat.... "Oneal are making the coming out early process seem right." That took 4 years....Too long to wait. You just want the brat because he's from Atlanta. If anything, that helps doom him for failure. It's alot harder to get good centers than it is to get PF's. PF's come a dime a dozen.
  22. If the team wants to get on right get Oakafor even if it means trading to get him. Screw this teenagers that take 4-5 years to develop. It isn't worth it. No Eddy Curry or Kwame Browns. And don't try and tell me Kwame is playing good for his minutes. If he was that good he'd be play 33+mpg on a team like the Wizards. Not to mention he's a sissy boy. MJ made him cry like a little baby.
  23. Dwight Howard=SHAWN KEMP? That's about what it seems like to me...Or Maybe a Kenyon Martin....Possibly another Nene. Emeka Oakfor-Zo or POSSIBLY even a poor mans Hakeem. Does Emkea have any kind of mean streak like Zo? This guy makes it seem like most of these guys are miles away from being productive. Any how I'd select Oakafor because he could be a franchise type center and there isn't many of those coming anytime soon.
  24. Reading threw the players can anybody that has seen alot of these guys play: Josh Smith-Seems like a Michael Finley to me Dwight Howard-Kwame Brown or Jermaine O'Neal Shaun Livingston-Is he related to Andre Miller? Emkea Okafor-McDyess maybe? OR Zo? Ben Gordan-JT clone? Sebastian Telfair-Shorter Steve Francis? Raymond Felton Andre Emmitt
  25. They have seen Howard play and he looks less ready than Kwame Brown did. Can anyone confirm this? Also, I'll back off Knight slighty if he can either turn that second pick from a mid round to a lotto pick or get a 3rd mid first round pick.
