I read that the Clippers want him. If they get him they would have managed to have gotten the worst logo/uniform in the league and sign my three lest favorite players: Lance, Paul Pierce, and Josh Smith. They should just go ahead and get Delly too make them as hatable as can be.

Well I'm sure the majority of Hawks fans can see we improved. We swapped Demarre, Pero, and our first for Paul, Tiago, and THJ. I mean to me that's a solid improvement. Allstar power forward for a solid 3 and D effort guy that isn't worth the money he got at all. A real center who is younger than Pero for a guy who was being phased out for Moose anyway. And a high ceiling guy who should contribute solid scoring for a draft pick that is basically a wildcard who would almost certainly not see much time in the next few years. Yep sounds better to me. Teague, Korver, Millsap, Al, and Dennis keep the same roles while Thabo steps up to starting role while Bazemore and THJ provide good wing depth. Tiago takes Peros minutes and, at least to me, we look much better on paper than we did last year

It's really Demarre, Pero, and Jenkins for Paul, Tiago, and THJ. If we kept Demarre there would be no chance at keeping Paul. I don't see how this could possibly be looked at as a worse team from last year. The rest of the east might be better and make it tougher to do what we did last year, but we still improved

They aren't overpaid. It's not about the concrete amount of dollars it's about feeling they get back as much money as they bring in to the franchise. The league makes a lot of money and the more money the league makes the more money the individuals that help them earn that money deserve to earn more money too.

Well if he ends up not getting our system then he won't be playing. Bud isn't incompetent. However if he does get it and plays to his potential I'm more excited about him than I would be with any rookie. I've always been a fan of THJ's upside which we have seen small glimpses of from time to time. If Bud and the staff can coach him to be he best he can be like they did with Demarre and Paul then I think we will get a better player than anyone we could have drafted.

Honestly meeting the Spurs in the finals would be so fantastic. Master versus apprentice for the title would actually be quite the compelling narrative

You are 100% correct. We haven't played in one game since he has become president. Give the man who I'm sure exceeded your expectations as coach a chance to be something more. Believe in Bud until he gives you a reason not to.

I don't post often but I read all the stuff posted here all the time. Of all the fan forums I've been too this is usually the most pleasant one. I just hope as Hawks fans we can stay positive and believe in the team that Coach Bud wants to build. At least I believe we can save or judgment of the pick until we see THJ play as a hawk. Then the negativity is more warranted. This is going to be a loooong offseason if we don't believe in the in our current staff's vision! #InBudWeTrust

We draft someone in the first round. It's not that bad. We picked up a bench scorer that the staff has faith in obviously. I don't know why some people here think that because we won't have a 20 year old on the roster we are going to drop from 60 wins to a non factor in the league. If THJ doesn't work out, although I believe in him, it's not the end of the world. I swear in the offseason everyone gets their panties in a wad because we don't make the splashes we were hoping for. Well these splashless offseasons got us to be the #1 seed for the first time in decades. Can't we FINALLY have faith in coach Bud. He turned this team into one of the best in the league. Missing out on a rookie isn't going to change that.

I believe that will be the color but I don't think we will go overboard like Baylor. I imagine it will be in similar amounts to what is on that Oregon Jersey.

I'm sorry but I don't see how anyone sees lime green. That is highlighter yellow-green. It has been called volt by many teams for years since Oregon used it on that all black uniform vs LSU. Baylor uses it too

yeah the ones with the green because the Christmas one has Green. That's what the concept maker behind both said.

Those black and red ones aren't what is expected. It was just removing the green because they thought it would look better
