  1. This is True. Luckily we have another two years with them to see where we stand.
  2. Not hard at all. If the Hawks win a championship in the next couple of seasons, I don't see them letting any of the young core go and they will be willing to go into the Luxury tax for that squad. Who did GS lose? I don't remember if they lost any of their young core because of salary cap issues. They shipped Harris Barnes out to get KD, but that was for a way bigger upgrade.
  3. I know I shouldn't bring up LP, but it appears Travis gave a little more insight into why LP was let go. https://theathletic.com/2690210/2021/07/05/nate-mcmillan-gets-a-deal-john-collins-future-and-internal-growth-gm-travis-schlenk-on-the-state-of-the-hawks/ Pretty great article by Chris. Edit: I also hope Nate has a good eye for talent.
  4. Cam's performed his best coming off the bench. I'm not so sure why the sentiment around here is focused on who starts. If Cam starts, I'm all for it because I guess I"m the second biggest Cam fan here. If he comes off the bench, it doesn't mean that he won't play most of the minutes in a game if he's got it going. The defense over Bogi is a def plus, but next season it may be best for him to continue coming off the bench and being that sixth man. Going forward, when Bogi's gone, I believe Cam will start and Kev will take over the sixth man role. JC should and will be starting 4. We'd get eviscerated on the boards without him. When Cam, Hunter, JC, and Capella have shared the floor, I believe they were the number 1 defense small sample size and all. So glad we have a deep roster so we can have these debates though.
  5. 1. Hawks 2. Falcons 3. Braves 2 & 3 are interchangeable depending on how their seasons are going. I can watch every NBA and NFL game, but Baseball, I may watch a 3rd of the season until the playoffs, then I'm all in.
  6. Yeah, except that first sentence. Travis wasn't on the hot seat this year. It's funny how they say Luka is generational and the Hawks have a generational team. The Ringer still has their Luka bias. If Luka is generational, Trae Young is generational too. I also don't agree with their JC take. He fits just fine. Other than that, I appreciate the coverage..lol
  7. Why do you get so defensive about these things? Harden was out of shape for him and that lead to him getting injured. He was in the worst shape of his basketball career. That's not talking about wait it's talking about his conditioning. When you're body is more tired it is likely to break down. That's scientific.
  8. I'd clap too with the windfall this playoff run just made him. These guys are going to be one of the hottest tickets in town and all over national tv. Jersey sales about to go through the roof!
  9. Just proud of these young guys. I came in afraid of the Knicks an left expecting a championship in the next few seasons. The key to the Hawks success will be their depth. We will still be one of the deepest teams in the league going forward. With Trae, Gallo, Hunter, Reddish, Huerter, Bogi, Collins, Capella, and Okongwu they will have all the firepower and defense they need to win this. It's going to be harder said than done, but I finally don't feel like a homer when I say we have a championship contender.
  10. Why does it matter who starts? It matters who finishes. We have options. That's all any of us should worry about. If Bogi is hot, leave him. If the others are hot leave them in. Who start doesn't matter. Who wins us games as Hawks fans is all that should matter. I don't care if Bogi gets 1 minute or 48. As long as we are winning that's all that matters to me.
  11. So if he misses that pressure shot with under one minute left do the Hawks win the game. Does Trae have the opportunity to hit the game winning floater? No, Trae almost turned the ball over with that pass, Bogi makes something out of nothing and hits the game tying three. It was the second biggest shot in that game. No idea why you refuse to give Bogi his props. He was playing like trash and with Trae out stepped up for us. He's a nice solid addition to the team.
  12. All I said was he won a couple of games. Point proven. Thanks.
  13. The Hawks were down 103 -100 with 55 seconds left when Bogi hit that shot. Keep up your agenda though holmes.
  14. With no Trae and an injured Trae in Game six. I wasn't expecting sunshine and roses.
  15. See 6:42 without that shot to tie the game, I believe you were on hiatus during this time though so you may not have seen it. There was also several big shots in the Philly series during the comebacks. Let me know if you want me to pull those for you.
  16. We do have two answers for them, but one is hurt, Hunter, and the other, Cam Reddish, can only cover one at a time and is on a minutes restriction. You don't have to trash the Hawks to uplift the bucks.
  17. Agendasquawk at its best. I'm sitting her proud of how this team fought. Gave us so many surprises this playoffs run. I know there's no guarantee of getting back this far, but I bet we'll be in at least the ECF two out of the next three years.
  18. Nah, I'm not giving up either Cam or Hunter. You must don't remember KAT in the playoffs with his 10 to 11 pt performances. There's too much potential on both sides of the ball for those two wings.
  19. Man stop. JC was the only able to rebound out there.
  20. I'm petty and I want Milwaukee to win it all. Can't have Booker and Ayton getting a championship before Trae.
