Another good thing was Muscala couldn't play more than a minute. Humphries was a much better match for Monroe. I wouldn't mind to see Hump and Scott as our backup bigs for a while. I want to see if Scott can get to the point were he was like two years ago.

At the PG spot Irving, Wall, Lowry, Thomas and Kemba are better than Dennis rn. I still think he will get a lot of votes tho.

And it surely was a tough call for Bud tonight. At the end you have to say it was a great gameplan. Shorten the rotation, playing small, sit Muscala and Delaney in the 2nd and let Schröder and Millsap play like 40 minutes and take over. It all worked. Good coaching right there if you ask me.

Bazemore actually had a good 2nd half. Helped us to get over the hump with his backup PG minutes. Dennis and Millsap were straight up great. Scott should get some of Muscalas minutes in the next games to get him going.

Some strange calls from the refs again. Would have liked to see Scott in that rotation. Muscala is off right now. Delany can´t hit a damn three. Westbrook is unfair.

I'd say that was totally on Millsap. There was no need to help, trap or go for the steal. It was late clock and Dennis was in front of Kemba. Another thing I noticed was the Hawks managed to get the ball out of Kembas hands in several clutch possesions which was a good thing. But of course Bellinelli finds his inner Curry right then.

Dennis' freethrows and Millsaps gamble messed this up. At least it was the second game of the season Baze played up to his contract. And Bob Rathbun was right about the refs killing our momentum with that double technical which was a no-call.

Just a quick thought: It's weird how often we play with three wings on the floor. I mean it's not like they are our best players and you can't sub them out. Thabo playing the 4 is ok but it isn't the answer. We have three more PF on the bench. They must feel disrespected. And if you don't play them just cut one like Kelly and get another PG.

We all know the Hawks can beat every team. But for some reason we can lose to every team as well. It seems like oposing teams are looking forward to play in our house. Orlando, Detroit or even the Pelicans coming in here and shooting LIGHTS OUT. It´s ridiculous. Payton played wonderful. But did he ever hit like 5 jumpers in a row before? Those open shots from Ibaka or Meeks just cant happen. Certainly they hit every tough shot. Payton played at a good pace but how did he break down the Hawks D like 25 times this game? It was the good screens he was using to his advantage. This happens to us so many times. And we can´t set screens like that on our offense. I wonder why. We had a few good screens in the last two games but other than that its awful. Baze's shot selection is straight up terrible. He's taking shots like he's DeRozan. Sit his ass down. Dennis had a Career high in assists with 13. The offense was ok despite the turnovers. You shouldnt lose a homegame if you score 120 points smh.

This was an important win like you all know. Not just the fact a comback like this gives a huge confidence boost. After that losing streak it was important not to get on the wrong track again. Now we have 3 off days. The first time there´s really time for fixing some stuff in training. And I know many of you don't want to hear it, but I sense a big game from Baze on tuesday. This break might just gets him started. Might.

He`s playing like an allstar lately. 22/7 over the last seven games. He will likely have some bad games coming but we should be set for the playoffs with him. He always Plays his best games on the big stage.

WOW! Even Schröder never looked that good in the D-League. The Hawks might just had an incredible draft night. I wonder what Princes and Bembrys role is around this time next year. But i have a bad feeling the hawks could just trade a guy like Bembry away...

I think they have enough big men. I wouldnt mind giving them Baze and Korver. Start Timmy and Rudy and bring Thabo and Prince from the bench. That would be a good wing rotation (with Bembry as 5th man). We would have space for anther PG or Combo guard as well.

He can give us spacing as well. Plus he can put the ball on the floor and has some serious athletisism. Way better all alround than Korver.

Wow after a tough loss against the most talented team in the league. That right here is ridiculous. But: How is it possible Korver is playing the whole 4th Q with having no impact on the game except from turnovers and fouls? Don't tell me it's about spacing. We already showed we can win without his damn good spacing this year. It's horrendous to see Kyle getting the ball, isnt open, dribbles one time and then is standing around with the ball and doesnt know what to do for 5 seconds. That happens like 10 times a game. Scott coming back could be huge for us if he can shoot a good percentage from three. That would give us one more option for spacing without Korver.
