KK played 31 minutes last night. So now on the second night of a back to back he could sit out again. In that case this is a huge game for us. With Kyle starting we wouldn't have a chance guarding Durant. Thabo needs to start and show up like he did against the Pacers and the Cavs. Remember: We won both of this games. In chase of Kyle sitting a win would be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. Then Bud has to get the memo that Korver can't start on this team. I like the idea in Korver coming of the bench. And if this doesn't work as well i'd trade him for a vet point guard later on. We really need one right now tbh.

Guys this one wasn´t on Dennis. This one was on Bud! I guess we are the only team in the league which subs out the best player in Millsap after under 5 minutes into the first and the third. And then there is no way Kyle Korver should play the most wing minutes at all. Especially not with all their perimeter scoring. Dennis is the one guy who can create shots. For him and his teammates. He still needs to learn when it´s time to do what. But he did a great job finding his mates tonight. He was holding us into the game at the end of the third. Then Delaney came in an let Lou score 10 straight points. Ball game. Millsap sometimes plays to stagnant. The ball movement stops when he gets it. This needs to be more fluent. D8 had a bad night after the first Q. Sometimes he´s to demanding. He puts himself over the team at times. If he doesn´t get the ball he isn´t going for the Rebound and stuff like that. Oh and yeah. How is it that every Team can set good Screens (for their point guard) but the Hawks can`t????????????????

Yes it was. You can´t throw that pass at that point of the game. BUT I looked at the possesion again and Howard was wide open and pointed to Dennis to throw the lob. The pass was on point but Howard didn´t react. But of course we all know Dennis should´nt made that pass. He will learn from it.

He can do it all. He can shoot as well. He´s a (way) more talented version of DMC. Delaney was also a steal. Who would have thought he would be this solid? I don´t know how long Korvers contract is going, but i feel like this is his last season here. Don´t get me wrong, I thought he played well last night except like 5 missed threes. But I see Baze, Thabo, THj and Prince are better all around players. Prince needs to be unleashed asap.

Great Job from Dennis paasing the ball under the basket. Pick ´n Roll works better and those alley oops are adding up. I like!

A win tonight would be good for the team. We need to play defense at our highest level like we showed before. The last two games 3 or 4 starters had off nights. Can´t happen 3 times in a row - i hope

To them who say Dennis isn`t looking for his mates. He could have easily got 4-6 assists in the first Q against the Wiz but in the boxscore stands an 0. Just saying...

I don't know if this has to be a shot at somebody. I mean team chemistry is hard to figure. It was good the last years but it seems like it is even better this year. Sometimes there are just Little Things making a difference. Everyone seems to be on the same page now. With that beeing said I can imagine Teague and Schröder weren't as close brothers as they told to the media. Teague's 'bad' play last year was like he was feeling the pressure from Schröder more and more. So that obviously could be a reason for some 'bad blood' in the locker room, but still this post does not necessarily have to be a shot at Teague and/or Horford. I think Dennis is just really enjoying the situation beeing a starter in a team with good teammates and friends and thought that this pictures shows that perfectly.

Dennis' first three games as our starter were what I would call solid. Not quiet what we need from him, but still not bad. I think he is trying to play under more controll which is slowing his game down. But he also just had 3 TO over the last two game which is good. Also, I think he really wants to involve his teammates. I have the feeling that this is in his head most parts of the game. He didn't find the key yet. If Dennis gets some easy early assists it feels like he plays significant better. Like more free. If he has just one or even none assit after the first Q he starts to think about that. The shot selection was ok so far. He's shooting 40 % from three. The 3 off the dribble seems like a 50 % shot. I'd like to see some more midrange shots. That was a good shot most of the time last year from him. Pick'n Roll doesn't work out quite like it should so far. It seems like it's taking forever till Sap or D8 are set. We didn't see one alley oop from Dennis to Howard so far in three games. This needs to change soon But I think the PnR will get better. Just some thoughts going through my had.

I would sign Humphries as a backup. But we Need a starter. And defensivly i would take Noah over Al all day. At the offense we dont Need a fifth guy putting up threes. We Need a inside precence. Noah was the heart and soul in Chicago. He has that drive in him. And yeah he was hurt but so was Al.

With our Team we can only win with thoughness not with talent. And there´s a big gap between Al and Noah.

Instead of extend the contract with Horford & Baze we maybe should try this: Get Noah and Deng. The LU with Schröder, Thabo, Deng, Millsap and Noah would be a defensive force. We would be very though without having a superstar which obviously won´t happen this summer. Don´t you think? Deng and Noah played together in Chicago as well. Of course I don´t like giving Noah a 4/120 contract. If that´s the price i wouldn´t do it. But as many in here agree we won´t win a Championship with maxing Al. The last two letdowns against the Cavs can´t be overlooked. For the backup PG i like Sessions. He would be solid and could work with Thjr and Scott Splitter and one of our rookies. Korver could come of the bench as well or he gets the starting spot instead of Thabo - if he Plays like 2014/2015. I would let guys like Patterson and Edy walk. Even Moose i guess - I think humphries is better. We would have like two open spots. As a third PG i would mind taking a Chance with Seth Curry who developed well last Season.

I said enough about the PG situation in the other topic. Now i´ve got to say, why can´t Horford hustle like that every night. Boy, that was a monster game he had. Paul just had a tough night against Green, who is a really really good defender with all the tricks - and the refs didnt blow the whistle on him in the first half against Millsap about five times. Thabo was good, but I think we finally see what Hardaway could bring to this team. I truly believe he could be the starter alongside Dennis in one or two years from now.

Ah no. Come on. He (Jeff) is the one playing hero-ball more than Dennis right now. He is dribbling and dribbling around till there are five seconds on the clock and then gets nothing done. He also hesitates on every move and every shot. And then he´s missing point blank layups and free throws. Dennis´ D is sharper and his jumper and decision making is increasing as well. He´s like five years younger - and boy look at how he plays like his life is one the line every night every minute. There is no question he has to be the future.

If you give up close to 20 EXTRA POSSESSIONS its hard to win - thats so obvious....

And I think THATS the point. Millsap is one of the best PFs in the east. I take him over Horford. Horford doesn´t like to play C cause he isn´t. With him starting the five spot we wont beat the cavs or some other "good" teams. Not this year, not next year. So why should the Hawks give him a max contract? Wont gonna happen. And I´m fine with it. So why shouldn´t you at least try to get some good pieces for him? Crowder would be an upgrade for our wing - wouldn´t he? They have some other talent on thier team as well - and PICKS. Of couse other than Crowder or maybe Bradley no one would help us immidiatly. But with AL beeing gone we need a new center. We don´t need a scorer. We need a precence in the paint. A guy who rebounds, block shots and finishes strong at the basket. It will not be easy to get one of these. But we could have the assets for some packages. Splitter + Dennis wouldn´t be that bad for some teams. I think Sap, Baze, Korver, Thabo are safe right now - YES i don´t think they should let Korver walk. He maybe shouldn´t be a starter. But if i finds his stroke in march/april it gives the hawks a huge boost.

The Hawks have one talent. They can make every player look like an allstar. It´s ridicoulus. But I thought Dennis played well in regular time. I blame Teague all the way. This last possession in the 4th - MAN. How can he dribble back with five seconds left. Bud should have benched him in OT. Sometimes it seems like Teague doesn´t want to win.
