Eh. Perhaps it does take 5 years to become a complete player. Perhaps Quinn unlocks what people have been clamoring for....but for me, perhaps his Atlanta time needs to come to an end. I'm just always on the fence and not in a good way when it comes to Hunter.

I honestly didn't like the pick. I thought he was an ok player though and based on where he was picked, I couldn't be mad at it. After watching his tape in college and his Summer League debut and subsequent games, I'm not under or overwhelmed, good or bad. I think he will probably be a better player after his Hawk's tenure than during it. He's solid and has tools to work with, but I don't see "star." I do see him being a decent to good contributor as he gets stronger and more mature. Perhaps that's good enough as he develops.

Man, yall can miss me with the same Hunter "can be this or that IF he.....". Been saying this same ish for four years or more and the Hunter apologists say it's not his fault. Miss me with that. He can't dribble for crap. Has no killer instinct and looks to just be on the floor most times. Flame me. I don't care. It's been time for him to Step up His game.

The logic of hate for him (Trae) is stupid af. Opinions matter...I guess to some. But it's exhausting having people actually say Trae is Hunters problem, yada yada. How about Hunter grow some nutz and play with passion. Defensive specialist my arse. I'm in anti -Hunter boat. People saying he can improve, he'll be better under Quinn, but question Trae's ability to be even better? The logic is stunning.

If no one else says it, I have to say, sources mean squat when the same things happen over and over. I don't complain, call out the insiders or otherwise, but if you can say "my sources," shouldn't you bear the weight of heightened expectations good or bad? Each individual can make up their own mind, but I'm realizing that the Hawk's are gonna Hawk..."Insider" be damned..

Well...if yall can have an opine...so can I. No one likes to be wrong or I would hope they don't. Regardless of Supes concern over BBIQ on here, there is more iq here than is sometimes displayed. As for rumors, I'd rather they come from sources in the Hawk community but I know that's not totally always possible. We're mostly all Hawk fans..so the inevitable "I don't believe you" may be applicable. But the love is there. As a hawk's fan, I pledge to not ever attack someone intentionally, but a passionate respond will be construed as such I hope. Mods...you gotta Mod.

Gotta say this is an on point post and doesn't attack, it's a point. In any case..a source that's not inside or near the organization is about as trustworthy as Bleacher Reporters at times. Not a knock....just something I guess.

Lmao. Who is claiming AJ is better than Hunter on D? I think Hunter is overrated AZ hell on D. I say that while realizing he is the best wing defender on this team. But otherworldly....? Not for me. There is plenty of BBIQ on this site but an opinion is an opinion and there's more than one.

I don't agree with that draft pick thing. I think most Hawk's fans have been frustrated for 3 years watching him do less, be less and produce less due to a combination of bad coaching and the injury. Fans also see that he was/is potentially the better trade chip that could improve the team via player and/or picks depending on a deal. JC is valued more than you think. For the right deal.....yeah...he or anyone not named Trae..eh. Moved.

Hey North...I may be in the minority but there's no way in h3ll I'm offering or entertaining that package for Beal. Not to have Hunter remain. Put Hunter for OO in that package and flip CC to another team and that may be feasible.
