  1. You shouldn't use high picks on bigs who can only play drop coverage, and especially drop bigs who do not have a perimeter game.
  2. I don't see how anyone can look at the bigs that have been featured in the NBA recently and actually believe that Zach Edey has more than a snowball's chance in hell of being able to play with those guys. He's slow, unathletic, and lacks skill.

  4. Edey is a 10-15 MPG situational sub in the NBA. Clingan is a 15-20 MPG sub in the NBA. Neither are starting caliber bigs in the modern NBA.
  5. His age is only a minor factor. What hurts Edey is that, at best, he's a 10-15 MPG situational sub in the NBA.
  6. Bigs that I’m taking over Clingan and Edey: Alexandre Sarr Kel’el Ware Yves Missi Ulrich Chomche
  7. So, the issue with playing a non shooter drop big is rearing its head in the Nuggets/Timberwolves series. I’m seeing calls for benching Rudy for Naz since Naz can shoot. When looking at team building philosophy, you need to realize that this style of center will soon be completely phased out in the NBA. You have to be able to shoot and guard on the perimeter. This is what ultimately hurt those Utah teams Rudy was in as well.
  8. Now here is a player I would love to add.
  9. I’ve tried to look at some other prospects, but Sarr is the clear cut top guy, IMO.
  10. Need an actual floor spacing wing at that spot.
  11. It’s within the realm of possibility. KG and Giannis are the elites of this archetype. The more likely outcome is JJJ or a better shooting Evan Mobley. Both are well worth the #1 overall pick.
  12. Clingan should also not go top 10, but that’s another argument. You shouldn’t use high picks on drop bigs that have slow feet and can’t guard on the perimeter.
  13. Basically what has happened is the media has heard that Trae will not be shopped, and they are framing the narrative. AA with the Braves always says don’t believe any rumors unless they come directly from him.
  14. Most NBA fans don’t know that Brian Wright is the Spurs GM either.
  15. They don’t have to match salary but they have to send more than Keldon’s 19 million.
  16. Pretty easy. It's very clear that they all move much better than he does on the court. It doesn't take someone with 20/20 vision to see that. Sarr is the fastest 7-footer I have ever seen. It's obvious on tape that he moves better, is more agile, changes direction better, has more vertical pop...etc. I saw Edey's run. He runs like the clunky f***er he is on the court.
  17. No. I understand it perfectly. You cannot develop winning habits when your goal is to lose games. Period. End of discussion. There is clearly a difference in doing things to lose games with intent and doing things to win games and coming up short. One way, you develop bad habits that are hard to be broken. The other way, you develop good habits that can be built upon.
