  1. I think Supes has sad Trae, Capela, and the 2019 lottery guys (Hunter, Reddish) are not going anywhere.
  2. Agreed. It's not JC in the mega trade IMO. It's Huerter.
  3. Just saying... the following works in trade machine... I DO NOT think the Hawks are trading JC. I understand the case that can be made for it, I just don't think it's happening. With the rumors surrounding us being aggressive on the Heyward front, that leaves SHOOTING GUARD as the one spot that can be involved in a "mega" trade. If you go down the list of top SG's, the only players that I could see being traded and fit are timeline are: Hield Smart LaVine McCollum Holiday I wouldn't consider Hield or Smart to be mega trade worthy, and everything points to Holiday going to a contender. That leaves McCollum and LaVine. I couldn't get a McCollum trade to work in trade machine, but I think he's possible. BUT, the following trade does work: Hawks: LaVine Bulls: Oladipo Pacers: Dedmon, Huerter
  4. If it’s JC, it has to be Siakam then 100%.
  5. Exactly. No way we trade JC without seeing how he and Capela play together first. I’m sure a big part of the logic behind that trade was his fit with both Trae and JC. Huerter however.... There’s a reason GS was demanding him in any trade for #2. There’s been smoke about a Huerter trade. It’s Huerter guys...
  6. I think it’s going to be Huerter going out and we get a SG in return. Trading JC makes no sense unless they’re scared to pay him. But whoever they bring in is going to be a big contract PF anyways (if JC is part of the trade.) So if we’re going to have a big contract there anyways, I think we stick with JC.
  7. Does this rule Oladipo out of the mega trade?
  8. I went down the list of top shooting guards. The only players who could potentially be available and who fit our timeline are McCollum and then Levine. I don’t think it’s Levine. Levert isn’t mega so I agree there.
  9. Has anyone brought up CJ McCollum? I believe SG would be the position we’d address in any “mega” trade and can’t think of any other possibility. Or Levert so they can make cap space in BKN.
  10. Any idea of when this trade could go down? I’m excited to get all the details behind this thing!
  11. Can we not do the "mega" trade AND Hayward without the salary cap relief? Without knowing who we're getting back, it's hard for me to get excited right now about losing 6 (and all the players I've been scouting for months lol) for 13 and 17...
  12. I refuse to believe we're trading JC for Siakam. We're scared to pay JC, but we're going to bring on an older Siakam and his $130M? Not buying it.
  13. Please don’t be Horford lol
  14. Common Sense Test - Russell Westbrook to the Hawks Edition Russ is the 3rd highest paid player in the league and limits our cap flexibility moving forward. He's a ball dominant PG who shot sub 30% from 3 each of the past 3 years. Per CBS sports: "So unafraid of off-ball Westbrook were opponents that they started using his man to double Harden any time he stepped beyond halfcourt in November and December. Sidekicks are supposed to be low maintenance. Houston had to abandon the entire center position for Westbrook's sake." He also does not fit the Atlanta Hawks timeline. Conclusion - FALSE
  15. Thanks! A little surprised about Hali over Kilian, but I guess it makes sense. Would love to get Okongwu though! Learn from Cap for 3 years and then take over year 4.
  16. I believe you, but where did Chris say this?
  17. Trae / FA (Dunn?) / Goodwin Cam / Ant / Bembry? Hayward / Hunter / Harris Collins / Bertans / Skal Cap / Bruno / Dedmon
  18. If we can land Hayward, bye bye Huerter and #6. Hello ANT. Just my 2 cents on what I want/would do.
  19. On the bright side of the Russ rumor (which is probably not true) a superstar is actually putting ATLANTA on a desired destinations list??? When was the last time that ever happened?
  20. I get that. But I'm guessing our trade for him is contingent on him signing an extension. I'd assume this would be the case for other teams who trade for him as well. He might not be available next offseason.
