  1. I like the idea as long as the players take it seriously in trying to win. Adds some early season interest in making these games matter. Last night's game were pretty close in final scores. No real blowouts. I'm intrigued. I want the Hawks to win their matchups.
  2. It's very early, but they are currently below the play-in line.
  3. Pick Details: 2024 first round draft pick from Sacramento Sacramento's 1st round pick to Atlanta protected for selections 1-14 in 2024, 1-12 in 2025 and 1-10 in 2026; if Sacramento has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Atlanta by 2026, then Sacramento will instead convey its 2026 2nd round pick and 2027 2nd round pick to Atlanta [Atlanta-Sacramento, 7/6/2022] Do we want the pick this year or next year?
  4. Memphis now the only team without a win...I know they are missing guys but they still have Bane, Smart and JJJ. I think trading Tyus Jones is their biggest fail.
  5. Didn't want to start one, but here goes....

  7. The in season tournament trophy...it's on all the courts
  8. 1. Last year we were low in volume and makes. Last year we were operating from the midrange. 2. This year we are taking more 3pt attempts. The Charlotte game has skewed the 11 made 3s per game since we only made 5 and shot 17%. The other 4 games our made 3s are 20, 15, 16 and 10 so that's 15.2 made 3s a game. 3. The other thing is this year in lieu of the midrange game we are going to the basket and racking up fouls and freethrow attempts. I think the 3pt attempts opens up the lane for more drives which we are taking advantage of. Freethrow attempts are up across the board for the top 8 players except for Bogi. 4. Defense - we are actually trying to play some, more often than not.
  9. Except he's gonna want more than the TPE next year.
  10. Feel free to start one. You can add mine to it.......
  11. I disagree. Sometimes a coaching change does a lot for a player. Puts him in situations to succeed as long as he is willing to listen, which by all accounts he is willing. Everyone else seems to have bought in on Quin, so why not him. Quin is breaking bad habits for the entire team.
  12. 1. Bey is a RFAcy this offseason, so we don't know if he will be back. He has not secured the starting PF spot. Rumor is Hawks offered $15 per he wanted $20 per. It only takes one team to offer him starting slot and $20 mil for him to leave. 2. AJ just turned 20 - need him to keep developing under Quin. 3. Hawks don't have their picks in 2025 and 2027 picks - they'll need cheap guys on rookie contracts to keep developing to fill the bench. 4. Then there is Bogi - he is 31 and we know how injuries keep him off the floor.
  13. Bogi has also started slowly from 3.
