  1. Trae had 10 60%+ games last year, 2 this year.
  2. Ok. this is the Hunter 20+ point game. Can he get another 12 rebounds?
  3. DJ was hot last game...can we have a repeat performance? Or who else will step up? Edit: I was wondered why he said 'Trae is here' - his grandfather died (see two posts below).
  4. Three things: 1. Trae was horrible for that 3-minute stretch in the 1st quarter: 3 TOs and 3 missed/blocked shots, lost us the momentum. 2. Quin has been subbing Trae midway thru the first quarter (give or take a minute or 2), then he sits for about 2 minutes, then finishes the quarter. Here are his last 6 games when Quin subs him. Dallas - 7:06 Wizards - 6:33 Sixers - 5:45 Miami 5:40 Boston: 4:14 Boston: 6:45 3. Trae typically sits at the end of the bench. (The author implied Trae was benched and he was pissed so he sat at the end of the bench)
  5. Trae had his usual slow start to the regular season shooting from 3: 32%, 29%, 32% from Oct thru Dec. Then picked it up from Jan thru March for 33%, 38%, 40%....Then the calendar switched to April was 2-15 for 13% in those 3 games and unfortunately it has carried over into the playoffs. He had a very uneven season overall though.
  6. I think there was an expectation that DJ, Dre and Justin would provide some level of resistance on the perimeter with some level of CONSISTENCY, but it has been hit or miss.
  7. Well, Nate certainly didn't care what analytics said about 3pt shooting. Trae took 610 3pts last year, 460 this year - that's a difference of 150. I was surprised by that.
  8. Struggle all season and now even worse in the playoffs! Sigh!
  9. During most playoffs, there is always a role player that excels that helps his team in winning. may not be the same guy game to game or series to series. Hawks needs a role player to get hot.
  10. I'm not even asking for 40%, I'd settle even for 33%........but 17.5% ...that has got to be historically bad, No.
  11. The difference is our offense made up for the deficiencies on defense...it was a very delicate balance. Lou and Gallo could provide timely buckets and their experience was invaluable vs what we have off the bench currently. We can't go too far one way or the other....it's about Balance, toughness, grit, size and skillset.
  12. We can't shoot or defend right now either.
  13. Good stuff - the relative lack of playoff experience for JJ, Bey and OO is glaring when compared to other teams.
  14. will be interesting to see if the resign Kuzma and Porzingas. They need to move on from Beal.
  15. What's our bench ranking in these 2 playoff games? Stats per game: 25 pts per game 37.2 FG% 31.8% from 3 17 rebounds per game 6.5 assists per game 3.5 Steals per game 2 Blocks per game
