Unless I'm wrong (hey, there's a first time for everything), I'm pretty sure he's had knee injuries throughout his whole career ... then the tendon situation.
-
He didn't just start getting injuries, m'friend.

I'm sorry, what? You mean they're still playing games? NBA died for me last week so I wouldn't know. And I'm stealing FakeGM but will give you credit for being my 'source'. How the heyul have I never thought of that? Must be old age.

First, we do agree that it's nice having to fall back on an option that's actually played at an all-star level as opposed to a guy hangin' on. What I'm saying is, that one game isn't 'him' anymore. If he had to do that night in/night out, they'd be woefully disappointed. Even while playing well, he didn't look right. There were a lot of turnovers and bad shots mixed in there. We just didn't take advantage, for a myriad of reasons. On the comp to George, I'd push back by saying George's injury was a total freak occurrence. lOladipo's appears to be his body wearing down. Big difference. Plus, George played at an all-NBA/all-star level multiple seasons. lOladipo did it one year and that's about it. I don't think their situations are comparable.
-
In fairness though, if we had shown up to force another game and lOladipo had to follow his performance up again, I imagine he would've looked like Bogd does after a big game. I ain't overreactin' to his one-off performance and the game vs ORL doesn't count. And, yes, my post is just dripping in haterade. Not even caring. Who said it was? I feel like you're just reaching to defeat homer-ism that's not really happening.
-
Respectfully, what does your response have to do with his post? Did I miss something?
-
Bogd misses games, Brogd misses seasons. Big difference. It can be argued that Brogd is well past his prime. Bogd just needs to stay on the court.

Well, the tell is my response to jaybird where I made it clear I was referring to 2nd round selections. So, in reality, you and I actually agree on Devoe. But I'm gonna take a few minutes to compose myself. Your unwarranted assault on GT has left me shaken. I mean, is this what Ukraine feels like? And to evoke the name of Javari... I can't even finish it. .. then again .... the team always needs shootin.... nooo, nope. Don't do it, kg. Just walk away.

In fairness, we would've said the same about Baller-ado this time last year. Fast-forward to now and the dude is good enough to get the nutt-kick treatment after shuttin' Paul's arse down for a couple playoff games.

In fairness to @Sothron, due to our years of mutual disdain respect, I think all he's saying is Capela would be in any potential Ayton deal. The overall package would include a bunch that could entice the Suns. I'm dubious on the whole thing because I imagine PHX would get much better offers. That said, I also can't imagine them paying the money it'd take to keep him unless Ayton just decides to go cheap-ola on himself.

Sad/true. But reminds me of this one chick who I knew was bad news. I mean like got into fights with dudes, bad attitude, just a real trouble maker. But she was about a 45 on a scale of 1 to 10. Just gorgeous on top o' fine so she always had ... options, shall we say. I won't say if kg ever went there. Statue of limitations and plausible deniability and whatnot. Anyway, on another note, somebody tell me how we can get our hands on Lu Dort.
-
Devoe is gonna be another steal. Hope we get in on the ground floor with this one since we totally whiffed on Baller-ado. Of course I'm talking about 2nd round picks since the 1st will surely be traded.
-
Brogdon can't stay healthy and is only getting older. Bad combination.
-
He has vet savvy. Is he a better defender? I guess, but it's more awareness than ability probably. So, you have an argument.
-
Dieso speaks some truth in Heurter v Burke, however ... (and it's a big butt), Burke should be a consolation prize, not a targeted acquisition.
-
Does Trae have multiple years of getting shut down in the playoffs? Ooh yeah, I finally got some supes-beef to put on the grill. I been waitin' my whole life day for this.

Aw, thas easy. Iss just 'cause he had the ball all tha time.
