Yo I ain’t never been anyone but my weirda$$ self here on squawk and that’s a promise. ps I’m playing ball right now and noticing that my defense has gotten waaaayyy better since I was in my 20’s and I dribble a lot more than I used to back in the day.. Anyhoo, it made me think defense is about pride. It’s like 80% pride and effort and 20% miscellaneous (not including size).. Anyways, the more I’ve developed episodes in my life where I think I’ve been totally screwed over, I think about those when I D up and feel like the offensive player is my #1 enemy… why doesn’t half the league play D anymore? I don’t overlook the bench by any means I feel like a true squad is pretty cohesive and in tune 1-12. Having said that, the bulk of the load goes to the star ️ players in the playoffs but if the bench has been there all year it lends more support to the team’s star ️ as far as breaking down; fatigue etc. I’m not sure we did a bad job per se putting it together but honestly we had a relatively young core on the bench based on the recent players we’ve drafted. Not to mention the injuries.. It was what it was but moving forward we need to keep a keen eye on targeting valuable bench guys who KNOW THEIR ROLES and are a little more VETTISH! Look, Trae is in his prime, it’s time to put it all together now. What we were saving up for and building around Trae and all, it’s time to go a little more experienced with a couple guys but let the rookies get in there too. I always though a mix of vets and young guns are the way to go as far as the bench is concerned. GO HAWKS!!!

OG was my boy in the draft in 2017, him and Semi Ojeleye in round 2 I wanted the boys from Africa. I wasn’t mad at the JC pick though. Ya, OG is one of them dudes that I would even overpay for a bit. He’s rock solid both physically and mentally, hard to rattle the dude and I definitely wouldn’t want him checking me on D.
