Okongwu is out six months with torn labrum in right shoulder
Spud2nique replied to lethalweapon3's topic in Homecourt
He was active on my 2K roster today! First time I seen his name in a min. Even playing with him in the game, so smart and quick for a big, very accurate. Miss that dude. -
Lakers wanna just ship on Russ. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/lakers-have-reportedly-discussed-trading-russell-westbrook-internally-but-that-doesnt-make-a-deal-likely/amp/ The trio of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook simply hasn’t blended as well as Lakers figures hoped, and Los Angeles has held internal discussions on trade scenarios for Russell Westbrook, league sources told B/R. But moving Westbrook and the two years, $91 million remaining on his contract does seem unlikely. Sources tell B/R the LA Lakers have had internal conversations about trading Russell Westbrook, but no serious talks have materialized with potential trade partners.Ringo H.W. Chiu/Associated Press Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio’s salaries would match Westbrook’s pricey deal, reuniting James with a former championship counterpart. But that structure would have little interest from the Cavaliers’ side and has not yet been discussed by the two teams, sources said. Outside of Love’s large number, there are simply few players aside from John Wall, for whom Westbrook was traded to Washington last summer, who are available for trade and come close to Westbrook’s earnings. One of those players is Ben Simmons. The Athleticreported Los Angeles’ interest in Simmons on Monday, and Westbrook’s salary, outside of James’ and Davis’, is the only number on the Lakers’ books that can match Simmons’ own lofty deal. Even then, Westbrook is not a player on the Sixers’ list of hopeful returns, league sources told B/R, and conversations with the Lakers never developed very far.

Once we do though we run: c- JC pf- Hunter sf- Cam sg- Bogi pg- Trae Thats what the rockets did with Wood and putting him at center and they reeled off 8/10, now I’m not saying small ball will work, but I think it can against certain teams or at least for stretches. Our guys will have to play bigger not smaller than their size though for it to have impact. Like Hunter has to man up and so does Cam. I’m sorry but they are always injured. Im not against dealing one either, they might end up leaving for nothing. We can’t panic but we need to look around and make smart decisions in the next 6 months for sure.

You’d be saying the opposite had he NOT given him an extension. Can’t play Monday morning QB everyday Terrell that $hit gets old. No front office bats .1000

You guys don’t watch enough Wolves games. Now, I’m not encouraging that as I like you people, but no, KAT ain’t it.

Laugh it off? I’m actually laughing on the inside as to how everyone is jumping on getting a KAT when that’s not the problem we are having. If we bring KAT on it adds to the problem really because the dude is inconsistent and doesn’t have a knack for winning.

I stand corrected. Minny made the playoffs in 17-18 but led by Jimmy Butler. Jimi carried them.

Has he made the playoffs yet? Oh wait, let me guess, his surrounding cast wasn’t good enough. I got news for you Soth, KAT is one of the most overrated players in the league. If he was as great as you all think, he would have made the playoffs or had a winning record with the Wolves. The truth is the guy is just a stat guy. ya that’s not KAT. He is the guy that lumbers up and down the court and fake hustles.

No clutch Curry! Gimme Reggie or Ray all day! https://deadspin.com/no-clutch-steph-curry-is-not-the-best-shooter-of-all-ti-1848201922 In Curry’s career, he is 0-for-9 in the playoffs on shots to take the lead in the last 24 seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime, according to Basketball Reference. Those are facts, not feelings.
