    I love their show, but I'm not going to give them that much credit. They were very late to the bandwagon despite what they are saying now. They both had Knicks in 5 and even the morning after the Hawks won game one they both said Knicks would win that series in 6 games max.

    I watched the BOS telecast and Scali had nothing but good things to say about the Hawks all game.

    Cam looked like a different person out there. Letting the game come to him instead of forcing it. Noticeable difference.

    This discussion has been had a lot recently. It's not an issue for me, I am fully committed to my Hawks fandom. It was easier for me since I already disavowed the Bulls during the Derek Rose injury fiasco and the terrible reign of Pax and Gar Forman. When I became a Hawks fan I was already without a team for a number of years. Now that the Bulls are good I'm slowly embracing them again. helps that they have my favorite player in the league not named Trae Young in Lonzo. Lonzo is actually the reason I started following the NBA again after basically taking the previous 15 years off (aside from a couple early Derek Rose years in Chicago). So if Hawks and Bulls meet I will definitely be rooting for the Hawks. Besides I am 52 years old, I already lived through 6 Bulls titles during my sports fan prime. Time for ATL to feel that love.

    True, but still always shocking when someone young dies from it. Lost a buddy/hockey teammate 7 years ago yesterday to stage 4 lung cancer. He was 38 with 3 kids under 6 and a non smoker. Went to the ER for a ankle fracture, while he was there he coughed up blood so they did some tests and told him he had stage 4 and it was terminal. He was gone a year and a half later.

    wow, that sucks. Hated his posts, but this is very surprising because I also assumed he was a young guy in his 30s based on his opinions. RIP

    What’s the Chicago connection? Why are we watching the same exact basketball games lol? I’m a Chicagoan, was a Bulls fan, became a Hawks fan and this year the Bulls have piqued my interest again. Was a diehards Blackhawks fan, but quit on them cold turkey when they traded Panarin.

    probably because Cam can't be trusted to play team ball on offense and not shoot every time he touches it. Solo is terrible, but if you tell Solo he isn't allowed to shoot he will listen for the most part and only air ball 2 shots all game.

    Yesterday I said we would lose by 20+. Today I'm going to say the Jazz feel sorry for us and we only lose 18.

    I've said it before and I'll say it again.....has anyone here ever seen Okafur and Jabari Parker in the same room? Answer is no because they are the same person.

    yea, the only person in danger of getting hurt on that play was Jokic who could've easily had a rib broken by that cheapshot. Two hand shoving a guy in the middle/top of his back is not going to result in an injury unless he is standing on a ledge.

    That was amazing! I'm a hockey player so I look at like Morris got exactly what he deserved and maybe now he'll think twice before acting like a POS on the court. I cheered out loud when Jokic cracked him. Dumbass should know that if you're gonna act like that don't turn your back on your opponent. He felt too comfortable being a goon out there, glad he paid the price for it. Now someone get his brother next!

    JC showing without a doubt why he is the #2 guy on this team. He's the only player on the team that doesn't care if he gets shots or not. As a result he's also the only player on the team who will move the ball within half a second of touching it. Notice all the tic tac toe plays this year already between Trae-JC-Capela. No other support player on the team plays that unselfishly. Everyone else gets the ball and first looks for his own offense before even considering passing it.

    I am so sick of this shit f-ing garbage team. They completely suck. Anyone here who thought we were going to win when we were up 12 in the 3rd is a delusional homer. This outcome was obvious. Trae was the only person who could do anything. You knew as soon as he got pulled for his rest we would lose most of the lead and then Trae would come back in and force a bunch of bad 3s because he was hot in the 3rd, the other team’s defense would intensify while ours did not. And oh yea, I am so sick of Clint Capela. It would be easier to make than miss 90% of the bunnies he screws up.

    Should've listened to myself and watched Dune instead. Maybe it's because of the heightened expectations this year, but I'm not even enjoying watching the games this season. Aside from the very first game vs Dallas and the game we won with a great final 3 quarters I've found every other game to be painful to watch, even the wins. Right now this team not only sucks but there isn't any joy in watching them. the total lack of effort on defense + the parade of bad shots is just making this a terrible team to watch. As for Clint, I haven't seen him miss this many bunnies since last season's entire playoff run. I told my wife before the game that Clint is basically a slightly worse and shorter version of Gobert. Halfway through the game I corrected that statement and said he's actually a massively worse player than Gobert.

    If Collins is out will Nate move Hunter over to PF and then start Cam at SF? Or does Huerter get the nod? If Hill starts I might skip the game and watch Dune.

    I'll remember this game as the game we were right in it and then Cam decided to trade shot for shot with Kevin Durant. I'll also remember this as the game we lost because we decided to give the best 3pt shooter in the NBA SEVERAL wide open uncontested corner 3s. Seriously, our team defense is atrocious. Not just Trae, but literally every single player on the team. none of them know how to play team defense. We have some good individual defenders, but that's about it. Doris Burke pointed it out on one play where we had 4 defenders standing all alone in the paint, teh ball goes to Harris all along in the corner and everyone in the paint just points at Harris asking each other to go out there and guard him. Pathetic effort from the whole team. This team is hot garbage now. I fully expect us to be in last place by Thanksgiving if not sooner.

    What are you talking about? He lost to Rhode Island because he was the only person on his team who could play basketball and hit a shot in the final 8 minutes of the game. He literally scored every single basket OU scored in the final 8 minutes of regulation, all 11 of them. And then he scored or assisted on 6 of the 9 points scored in OT.
